I love this park,soo many adorable baby animals

It's probably the best launch in town for parking as there are multiple parking spots. The launch is usually only usable until early -mid August due to water levels if your lucky, once the water goes down its useless. The city really does not do anything with it either, there are often trees fallen and in the way when you launch, or there is a ton tree debris floating in and around the launch area. The dock is in poor shape at best and is sinking on the front end. Once the water drops you will have to either use Valley view, which has no parking, or Pioneer park which launches you onto a rock bar when the water gets low. All the launches in this city are pretty poor to be honest.

Really nice place for an evening walk. Geese were being very agressive, one put the chase on me but they didn't expect me to chase back. It's a dog eat dog world out there, make sure you walk with a big stick.

Odd spot for a boat launch

You will either run into:1. Friendly paddlers2. Friendly motorboaters3. Drunk a$$hole$ with a steering wheel and a throttle.

Easy access. In and out.
