Pumpernickel's

I love the food at Pumpernickels, but my issue with all of them is that they choose to close whenever they want to. It’s never around the time they’re supposed to. All of their locations are like this. It’s annoying.

Menu is confusing, was admonished by the boss" for wanting fruit salad separately from caesar salad as the '2-sides super combo' with my (overpriced) sandwich. Apparently fruit salad is a breakfast combo item

Service was terrible and food was overpriced.There *7 employees* working, no lineup and it took 5 min for any of them to acknowledge us. Then when they did, the manager (?) was first, rude to us, and then was speaking harshly to another employee.On top of all that, the $10 smoked meat sandwich was nothing special. It wasn't big, loaded with toppings, or anything. Strictly average Def not worth the price.In hindsight, after the rude service, we should have just walked away.

Horrible customer service. Beware that the manager makes up prices for items, always ask for the receipt. I decided to get the breakfast special, which 3 other people before me did as well. The receipts piled up, I just tapped my credit card without even thinking and noticed right away that he had charged me more than the others before me. I immediately called him out on it and he tried to brush it off and gave me less than the difference back in cash. He only gave me the correct amount once he realized I wasn’t going away, very disappointing.

Decent food quality but I found it a bit pricy for the portion size. Fresh ingredient and more healthy than average restaurant.

Was going to grab a meal at this location today! It looked great! Requested how much a small side of rice cost, was told $4, but $3.99 with a sandwich...? Very strange deal indeed! Gentleman working there was rather rude. I asked how much a can of coke would be, he didn't say anything and started putting it into my order. I quickly reminded him that I was just requesting the cost. He snapped saying that he had to put it into the machine to tell me the cost. After I paid for my sandwich, he walked away to chat with the female staff member. I had to reach over the counter and grab the receipt myself. Not very impressed with the service!

Came to the dining area to pickup a sandwich for someone else as they had requested a subway sandwich. So I picked up Subway, and walked past this place. Saw they had a great looking veggie panini in the display. So, naturally I hit the brakes and ordered with enthusiasm. Told the lady behind the counter the sandwich looked great and I would like one. With gusto she warmed it up. She then turned around to ask if I wanted anything else, to which I politely declined. However, as soon as she saw that I was carrying Subway, her attitude completely changed. She told me this food is all natural and fresh, and Subway is not, she actually pointed at the Subway.sandwich. I informed her that Subway was for someone else, but she only became more rude.The Veggie Sandwich was good, could have used more pesto. However, after spending $10 of my hard earned money, the lady's rudeness left a bitter aftertaste. Instead of being thankful to have a customer enjoy the food they make, the lady's negativity was not called for as we are trying to support a hospitalized family member.Good food, bad service.

Just had an amazing meal of baked chicken, two sides, two kinds of salads. Very delicious. Chicken very juicy, flavours, & tasty. Thanks again for great food & service. Halal too from Sargent ( hand slaughtered) Farms.

everything is amazing but based on the patient and staff population it seems so foolish and stupid not to have halal/kosher chicken!!!! Esp in a hospital like it's such a no-brainer!!!! otherwise the salad options are great and not UnFresh. The portion sizes are good for what you're paying. I recommend the chickpea salad if you're getting a bowl of 4.

You guys are not a good job u guys give such good food in hospital who would wanna leave the hospital. People are going to stay just because of the food.
