Black Sugar Coffee House
Meeting a friend for morning coffee. Neither of us had been to this business prior to this visit. I ordered a mocha, and truly, it was so flavourful that it may just be the best I have ever had. Smiling, friendly staff that allowed us to catch up on our lives. Comfortable interiors without being too crowded. Beautiful art graced the walls by local artist Darcelle Chow. We will be back!

Black Sugar Coffee House
So grateful for this cafe as they have a small play area that is clean, safe, and convenient for parents of small toddlers. Their drinks and food are priced as expected for a cafe in Port Moody (this is not Tim Hortons). There's AC in the summer and the location is stroller and wheelchair accessible. The staff has always been very sweet and professional.

Lovely cafe with great drinks and sandwiches. Today I had a latte and turkey pesto panini. Happy with quality and service. Friendly staff and there’s an electric vehicle charger a block away, lots of parking. Family friendly space too

Got the espresso and the banana chocolate chip walnut loaf. The espresso was very smooth and delicious, and the loaf was one of the best coffee cakes I've had in a long while. Would highly recommend here! The service was okay too. The place is very large and features almost 180 degrees of windows, making it a great place for natural light.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Pomo. Bright, cheery environment, friendly staff, GOOD coffee and lunch options. Its in a good location with lots of other little shops, hair salons and within walking distance to the ocean and brewery district.

Such a lovely little local business. Coffee is amazing and I love the variety of healthy (and not so healthy! lol) goodies. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options. Even though I'm not vegan, I quite enjoy the peanut butter power bar! Nice atmosphere, great service.

Great latte. Tasty croissant and delicious blueberry scone. A really nice cafe that really hits the spot. To top it off, really friendly staff that caters for all including kids. Will come here again.

This is my favourite cafe in Port moody. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and delicious beverages + treats. The blueberry scones are amazing! They even have doggy treats and coffee grounds for your garden. I highly recommend Black Sugar.

Black Sugar Coffee House
Very friendly staff and attentive service. I requested a latte art on my lavender latte and while they said they’ll try their best, it actually turned out beautiful. Chill vibes with wifi (Shaw) and plug, and the high tables were comfortable to study at. Would recommend for both studying and also catching up with friends.
