Lake Trail Family Restaurant
One of my favorite Chinese Restaurant in Winnipeg. Plenty of fresh shrimps were in shrimp fried rice. Chicken balls and ginger beef were all excellent. Very nice supper experience. Highly recommend!!

Love the food eat every Friday morning at the restaurant and enjoy the music. I also order take out and the servings are generously great always have left overs for the next day.

I guess there’s nowhere else for decent Chinese food in the area. My combination meal was overpriced and portions were small. Although the owners were nice and accommodating, my only complaint would be the portions.

My new favourite place to get sweet and sour chicken balls hands down. Unbelievably delicious and absolutely generous portions!! Suki who works in the front of house was so pleasant and such a positive and friendly lady! Will be ordering again.

Ordered on a sunday evening. The food was ok, Not enough authentic spices, the spicey prawns were as usual, large shrimp like the 7 dollar superstore bag, not too bad but certainly not prawns. Watered down sauces but the shrimp weren't overdone at least. The ginger beef was not very gingery in fact both the beef and pork dishes tasted like frozen entries. The veggies in the dishes did seem crisp and fresh, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, celery.

Was thoroughly delighted by the quality, quantity and tastiness of the food I had. Will be stopping by again, now that I know about it.I'm not saying I'm going to drive all the way from Winnipeg JUST to buy more food from here... but... no, wait, I totally am.

Our local Chinese resteraunt , now under new management still has great food and service. Lunch special daily although wr chose to have dinner on this visit.
