The place is renowned for its fish soup dishes and it has lived up to its reputation.In terms of food, they did a good job. It comes in generous portions and the toppings are nice. The soup is full of taste and will certainly warm up your body. It is a shame that they take cash only. No credit card or digital payment whatsoever. For foreign travelers wit without Canadian currencies it is inconvenient. The service could use some improvement, yet overall I would still consider revisiting again.

The crispy fish and fries tastes horrible. The oil they use probably not changed for many days and over use. Worse than fast food restaurants.

Very good noodle house with lots of customizable options. Very tunable to your particular tastes and you can try a different combination each time you go! Personally I like the peanut chili soup, it is very tasty and not too hot. Parking at this location can be very hard to find during peak hours as the mall is packed with other restaurants.

Large portion with many different options for rice/noodles. Can create own combination of toppings and sauce and type of noodles. Delicious and filling. I got the tomato and pumpkin fish soup with udon noodles and beef brisket and pork liver as toppings. It also comes with free hot coffee or milk tea. There’s also the option for side dishes such as deep fried chicken wings. Fast service. Highly recommend.

Great little place for noodles where you write down your choices of soup stock, ingredients and drinks for a base price of under $12. Serving size is above average and came with generous portions of meat. Parking can be a challenge during peak times (we were there at 6:15pm). Service was prompt and friendly. Food was delicious!

went here last week with a friend at 7:40pm and we were asked how many after waiting to be seated. after we answered, the man who asked turned around for a few seconds and said to us “sorry we are closed. we are closed”. very confused, we didn’t question it and just left. yesterday i foolishly gave them another chance with 2 of my friends and the service was still awful. the servers had attitude and were extremely impatient while we asked questions about the menu, looking at us like we’re stupid. the food was not tasty, the broth of my soup was salty and the beef brisket was chewier than tire rubber. the server handed us the bill while we were still eating, and right after we paid, had the audacity to confront us for the amount we tipped, and asked if anything was wrong with the service. so to answer that question, yes. there was quite a bit wrong with the service. especially the sense of entitlement to be tipped a certain amount after such a poor performance. the food may have been disappointing but i have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before.

So perfect to have their noodles soup under the cold weather, the soup is boiling hot which I love so much. Have variety of soup base, fish soup is actually not fishy which I thought it would be and I can take and it’s so yummy. Became my favourite restaurant if I ever visit Vancouver again.

Taste good as usual.Close at 8:30 and they would clean around 8:15. I just don’t much like anyone sweeping the floor aside me while I was enjoying my soup.

I have been coming here since 2012 or so and their soup noodle combo is one of my favorite comfort foods. Service is decent, food comes fast and is always consistent. Unfortunately, over the years, their prices have skyrocketed, their portions got smaller and their soup tastes more diluted. I highly recommend the malay laksa soup base for first timers. It is flavorful and has a nice kick for spicy-lovers! The sides that come you can order with your combo are also delicious; the chicken wings and pork with magi sauce are my favorites. However, I don't think the quantity you get is worth the $3.25. Overall, I still love their food but I find myself coming less and less as their prices increase.
