Universal Staffing (Employment Centre)

I’d like to say that they are very rude and are false advertising certain jobs.If I had the choice of giving them no stars I would certainly give them zero stars.Read saying that a job in Milton is considered in Georgetown meanwhile James Snow Parkway and steals isn’t in Georgetown it in Milton and she hung up on me I did not get her name but I do not recommend these guys.Because I am a mom who is looking for a job and when I read that the job was in Georgetown I was like OK I’m going to apply because it is in Georgetown and I live in Georgetown and I do not have transportation. So I’d be walking to work and if emergencies happen I need to be in Georgetown for my son.She said that Milton and Georgetown or eight minutes apart by car there is no transportation or busing so I bluntly said how is someone looking for a job in Georgetown supposed to get there without transportation and she replied or we would supply one ride one shift or you’d have to find a ride yourself.I told her that she should change the job title meant to Milton Ontario because James Snow Parkway is nonexistent in Georgetown and she hung up on me...Very shady especially at 8:52 in the morning.No wonder why you guys a very low ratings you’re very rude I will not recommend anyone going to you guys.

I injured myself at work and a lady by the name of Tracy took care of the WSIB forms and ran around after me calling me texting me to get a hold of me and to be informed what was going on with my back.She insisted to show up to my family doctor to try and get things rolling very pushy. Anyways long story short I ended up being on leave for about a week and a half and I was given modified duties. “Sit in a office and just fold papers and high light stuff” which I ended up not being able to attend due to car troubles. Anyways after a long break I was told that if I wanted to come back to work I could and that I would “absolutely have a job” but that was total lie. I was relying on the job when I got back for income and just like that it was gone. I get I missed a few days due to personal issues but I would of been fine to have been told that unfortunately they would have to let me go. But instead I was lead to believe otherwise and left to dry with no employment. Agency told me they would call me back but nope. Never got a call nothing. Also by working in the office there was nothing but bickering and pestering one another and complaint each time the phone rang. Place is a joke

Do not bother with this agency, you'll be wasting your time if that's what you're into. I called regarding a specific opportunity to make sure it was still available and I was told to come in, sign up with them etc. I drive from toronto all the way to brampton and get there only to be told the position is NOT available and its winter blah blah blah.... the communication there between eachother must be nonexistent... pathetic

As an employer I needed a few extra people to help. But, after waiting two full days I still never got a return phone call. Guess they don't care

After I stopped working for them, I called the office asking them kindly to send my cheque to me via mail. 3 and a half weeks later of checking my mail, I call their office to find out they hadn't even sent my cheque out. I ended up having to take a day off work of my new job to go to their office and get my cheque myself in spite of all the inconvenience they put me through. Still to this day they owe me $137 for vacation pay, I requested that cheque as well through mail but they failed to do so. Needless to say, save yourself the time and effort and do not work for this recruiting agency.

I referred one of the ladies from my organization to this agency as i saw a few positions posted online and she had a very good experience. They placed her at a logistics company in Georgetown and she absolutely loves it. I would certainly recommend any seeking logistics,driving or admin jobs in the peel/halton to apply to universal.

Ill-mannered!! Ladies on the front desk have no ettiquets. They donot have sence even illetrate people behave better than those.It was worse experince i wonder how they are still on their job? And agency having such kind of poor staff can never progress.....

Good experience working with staff who cares. The office seemed to have lots of jobs available and I was able to start work the day after coming in and applying. They seem like they are really on your side and are very clear in their explanations of job sites. The application takes a little time to fill out but in my experience it worked out great

Zero star. A young lady who used to work at front is very unprofessional and rude. She have zero customer service skill. She treated people like a garbage. They advertising fake jobs in Georgetown. We went over there and did everything then she said call us on Monday in the morning for work when we called them they said we don’t have work today so I just asked is it on call work? She said yes. What rubbish is this you wasted our 2 hours to fill all docs and now you are saying we don’t have work. A young lady need to be fire.
