I had an hour to kill waiting for a friend so I went there for the first time.. Lunchtime specials. Generous portions. Quick service. I'll go back for sure.

Momo Taro Japanese Restaurant
The owner was very unfriendly. I arrived one of the first customers, to the opening, to have breakfast. I sat down by the window, but they began to kick me out to another table and shout that now there might be a chance that other customers could come and suddenly there will be 6 people and I can’t sit where I want, but I have to be shown a place. However, the restaurant was empty. Besides me, there was only 1 customer in the restaurant. And a lot of empty tables. They refused to serve me, although I said that I would quickly eat and leave and that I wanted to sit by the window. The owner woman started yelling at me and the man brought me a sign saying that I should sit where they said, and not choose a free and comfortable seat for me. There was no sign on any table that the table had a reserve. The behavior was extremely unfriendly and aggressive. I left from there.

Momo Taro Japanese Restaurant
The best sushi in Surrey, and possibly in Greater Vancouver too. Incredibly good prices for their extremely high quality of food. We used to go to different sushi places in the area, but once we found Momo Taro a couple of years ago they became THE sushi place for us. We are ordering our sushi from them every Friday night now

There are loads of Sushi places around but I just keep coming back to these amazing people.Awesome Sushi for lunch or take out for family dinner.Always consistently delicious and fantastic value.Thanks Momo Taro!

Our new favorite! Have lived in South Surrey for 10+ years and never heard of it been here until this year. We have been missing out on the tastiest and freshest sushi! Their prices are very reasonable and love that they use sockeye salmon. We order here at least once a month and will continue coming here.

Great value and tasty sushi/food.Now, please explain why your server/cashier pressed and selected 20% tip before handing the credit card machine to me when I picked up my takeout order. I don’t mind tipping restaurants and I always do, however that was a very unpleasant experience being forced to pay for something that should be my option. I hope it was just a single incident and not the common practice of your business. I like to keep supporting our local restaurants as much as possible, please do not ruin the already difficult environment for the restaurants businesses.

This is my favourite weekly cheatmeal place. Hands down the best takeout sushi place in South Surrey/White Rock. Freshness and quality is superb. Must try: Rainbow rolls, Fancy rolls, Momotaro Combo and Part tray B. Theyre very generous on pickled ginger too. Also you get 10% off pick up cant go wrong with that.

Love this place! Delicious, lots of variety, & budget-friendly! My boyfriend & I love ordering from here. Even when they are really busy, the service is great. Keep up the awesome work! This is my go-to for sushi in south Surrey/white rock.
