The food here is delicious, very friendly employees, good drinks, good prices. Highly recommend the Cajun haddock!! Within walking distance of the sites/museums. Welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be back in the future!

Fish was beer battered which was undercooked and fries were mostly ends and cooked in oil that was old and should have been changed months ago. The server was hard pressed to even crack a smile.Will not be back.

We run a vacation suite in town, and recommend ships galley as a restaurant that is reasonably priced, has an extensive menu, and a place we love too. Our guests report back that they love the food too. Best fish and chips they had on their trip, loved the galley burger said another. This place is great and we highly recommend it.

About a dozen of the 1974 graduating class of SRHS met for a fun supper at the Ship's Galley. What a fun time and the food was amazing as usual. I always order a two piece fish and chips and bring a piece home for later. I forgot to take a picture of my plate but I did get one of my take home piece with the homemade tarter sauce. Thank you for a delicious and fun evening.

I’ve been to The Ship’s Galley more times than I can count over the last 5 years. The service is lovely - friendly and gracious. The food is really great pub food. The burgers are delicious and the fries are as good as Bud The Spud used to be - which if you’re from NS you know is high praise!Fish tacos are my favourite - ask for the special house made hot sauce - but everything on the menu is delightful. I’ve never had a bad experience here.In fact, I just talked myself into going here again tomorrow night.

Lots of yummy seafood to choose from on the menu. Service was good. We didn't wait too long for our orders. It was quiet the day we visited this restaurant. Our server was friendly and the parking was street parking. The decor is very historic as is the building with all its old crown mouldings. Lots to look at and seating was comfortable. It was a bit dark inside. Close to lots of sight seeing locations in Shelburne County.

Very good. Ordered Haddock bites, fresh and cooked perfectly. Homemade coleslaw and hand cut fries. Large portion. Great service too and fair price.
