A cold, windy visit at low tide but we had the driftwood, seaweed, rocks and sand to ourselves. The toilets were operational here too and clearly the facilities are being maintained. Well done, St Irénée! Signs say that dogs have to be on a lead, and pick up the poop of course. The dep opposite, Léon and Lily, was open too.

Pros- Nice little beach to relax and to take a walk or even for a picnic. No fees or reservations needed.Cons- There's not much sand and alot of peebles and the water was very cold. I haven't seen any changing cabin or any washrooms in reach.

A lot of people but the immence tide turns a 3 meters large beach into a 2 hours walk from shore to water and back! Very good for the skin cauz the beach is made of wet clay!

A simple, easy to access gem of the region. Check for low tides hours and your kids will spend hours discovering what lies on the sea floor. There are a few roadside restaurants and public dry outhouses.

Nice beach (considering it's a River), clean overall, not overcrowded, family friendly and definitely a great place to watch the low/high tide.

Lovely beach near Malbaie where you can see the tide lowering. The water is very calm and when you look ahead, it seems like the water is connected to the clouds. The water was a bit chilly but kids had fun throwing rocks and building sand dunes.

Located right beside the road with public washrooms and a couple food shacks, this beach is beautiful, a nice location among many in Charlevoix. Just protect your food from the aggressive seagulls.
