Value Lodge Motel
First room was filthy, and we had to get another room. The second room was an icebox my spouse try to sleep for an hour and couldn’t because it was so cold. We decided to leave and go to another hotel, they kept our money anyway I told us we had no right to ask for a refund. Recommend you keep driving or find a better place to stay.

The Privacy is nice and the rooms are tidy and it has been upgraded since the past however it is a bit dangerous and there are some strange characters roaming around

Value Lodge Motel
Noisy as on a main road. Does not have block out blinds. No table in my room to sit at but beds and an arm chair. The room was clean enough. The lady on reception was very helpful. Having washers and dryers and being able to buy detergent for clothes washing was really useful. I only stayed one night paying through Nainamo but it was fine for what I needed. Now 9 min drive to supermarkets.

It's an older place on a noisy highway.small air conditioner but it was adequate.I would definitely recommend a room on the back side or on the bottom.There were some smokers on the upper deck and the air conditioners pull cigarette smoke into your room.staff seemed friendly though I was only in front of them for 5 minutes and did not need my room cleaned during my stay.blackout curtains would be nice as I was working nights. ( also that's why I noticed the road noise)

Value Lodge Motel
Well you get what you pay for.If you don’t mind loud traffic noise, hearing everything in the next room(and I mean everything) way past 11pm, no black out curtains to have a dark room at night, sagging mattress, strong smell of bleach, no desk clerk from 10 pm to 10 am to keep an eye on things then you will love this place. Best thing is Alice’s Restaurant next door.

I tried to check in, and explained I was having trouble with my credit card and wondered if they excepted debit deposit, the girl was very rude and said she worked in a bank for ten years and it should work took my card and it didn't, again very rude. I left to another hotel and they were pleasent and said that they would take debit but we tried my credit card. After 3 tries the credit card did work. The staff were great, and I am glad I didn't stay at this hotel and ended up at the other. I am in town regularly, and will not even think of trying at the Value lodge again after my treatment.

The place is totally amazing with the new management all the rooms are clean it's a lot more quiet and a lot more better people staying there a lot less crime and stuff like

Value Lodge Motel
Price reasonable, very clean, updated, comfy beds, quiet all around, strong wifi, A/C, great view of the ocean on the second floor, and impeccable staff service. I typically hate staying in hotels and motels but was very comfortable to stay here and will have our crew stay here if working in the area.
