Grand Motel

Just check in and the guy on front is so rude and he even don’t no how to deal a customer the room has no lock and have two beds but both were dirty lots of bugs coffee on bed and floor I don’t even recommend to stay for free at this place and owners should read the reviews and plz change your receptionist his need rest not jobI just check in and went in room just after 5 min i put the key in letter box and just came back I didn’t talk about return because I don’t want to talk with that mental person

ROACHES! don't get me wrong the guy who got me my room was a polite guy. I get the key walk in looks clean. I started to get settled pull up to the table with my dinner. Grab a shower. The soaps are a waste of time. I come out of the shower there is 3 roaches on and around my food! I know what they are I used to install furnaces I see them often. I tried to man up and just keep my things away but knew when the lights go out they start shopping, I could not take it left at 1am booked the comfort inn wasted 70.00

The room was smelling tobacco, but doors had no smoking signs. The table in the room had blood stains, so i had to look for alternative accommodation and drop the keys in the mailbox the following day. So it was money down the drain since i had booked for 3 nights.

No hot water, filthy, insect infestation, outside noise is loud in the room (stayed in 5) and paper-thin walls". The tub drain had a huge accumulation of hair

Room is nothing like the pictures! We check in and went out for something to eat, we came back into room and noticed bugs and cockroaches, we had to cancel our trip and go back! Guy at counter was ruid and wouldn't help with cancelation sp we had to leave, we couldn't live like thatSave your money and don't go there

Smelly room,broken furniture,lights not working,paper thin walls and bed bugs. I checked out next morning..I've stayed in Bed and breakfast in the Arctic better than this place..this was Canada’s Bates Motel

STAY AWAY!!!! HORROR SHOW!! DISGUSTING, FILTHY, HORRIBLE!!!DOORS DOESN'T LOCK, ELECTRICTRICAL OUTLET SMOKED, HOLES IN BATHROOM DOOR, BLACK TAPE ON DOOR HANDLESMOLD IN TOILET, BUGS, DIRTY BROWN HAND PRINTS ON WALLS, OVER POWERING SMELL OF SMOKE.STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!

I called in advance to ensure a room would be available. Upon arrival shortly after midnight I had to buzz the front door only to have the 'attendant' say that they were fully booked and was upset that I woke them up. He ended up coming out of one of the rooms extremely high on something and partially choking just trying to breath. We got shown to our first room, fully infested with cockroaches EVERYWHERE, filthy place, you could hear neighboring units complaining about their bad batch of drugs. We left immediately to find my truck being looked at by 2 guys who just previously robbed another addicts unit. We were shown another room and 3 cockroaches scattered out before I had the door fully opened. Any good reviews about this place are either fake or paid for. Almost forgot, there were also blood stains on the bed comforter and adjacent table. I still feel gross just writing this review...

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Grand Motel in Brantford. The room was filthy, floors needed a mop, my socks were black at the end of my stay. You are best to leave your shoes on. The bathroom was covered in previous guests hair all over floor. The white bath towels had questionable brown spots on them. We found some bed bugs in the comforter. No air conditioning, the heat was on full blast. We asked front desk if they would turn off the heat in our room, they said no. I did not feel safe in the area at night, other guests and/or other people were wandering around and causing a commotion right outside my room and were circling my car. I couldn’t make it through the full night. My partner and I left our room at 2 in the morning, respectively dropping our key in the mailbox outside front desk.
