Markham Psychologists

I was referred for psychological services by my family Dr and 3 weeks later I still haven't spoken to a psychologist. For someone suffering with anxiety and depression they have made the intake process more of a punishment. You can rarely reach a live operator and they are HORRIBLE with responding to voicemail and website submissions. I wonder if their psychologists know how difficult their reception staff is making it for potential new customers??I was referred for a MVA and only one person does these cases. I filled out all their forms and dropped them off 8 days ago, with their previous promise of an intake call in 24-48 hrs. Still nothing! Beyond disappointed in their customer service.

I was referred here by my family doctor, and didn't read the reviews before contacting them. I wish I did.The administration is unorganized, which has led to me being handed off from a clinical associate to psychologist with little care.I had done the intake with the clinical associate for half a month, and was told that this information would then be handed to the psychologist for the process of receiving a diagnosis. But upon meeting with the psychologist, they said they didn't even know who that clinical associate was, and I would have to redo the intake process that I had just did for half a month. Why should I pay so much for you to receive information that you already have on file of me? Why should I be financially punished for your clinic's lack of organization?$225 for 60 minutes with a psychologist is quite expensive, and my psychologist arrived to the meeting 7 minutes late.Due to the disorganized nature of my experience, I would not recommend. Stay away from this clinic.

They were referred to me by my work. It’s absolutely despicable for a clinic to turn away a new patient because their psychologists don’t want to deal w/ paperwork. It would’ve taken them less than 2min to fill. They have availability but turn away patients w/ mental health issues bc of laziness.Unreal. I mentioned being aware forms would require several sessions before they can be filled, still got rejected. Either they have terrible reception staff who doesn’t communicate well (as reviewers suggested) or incredibly lazy therapists.
