I've been getting my bagels there for the last 25 years but since about a year or so, they are always undercooked. I bought half a dozen 3 times in the past 10 months, and they were all undercooked, the last batch being so bad I couldn't even cut them. At this point it's not even safe to eat. It's sad as it used to best, I don't know what made it change. ..

Really rude and bad service. Got treated like i am crazy expecting fresh bagels at opening hour. Start 30min earlier or open 30min later, don't make people believe they can get fresh bagels at 7!

i sent my daughters to buy bagels today on Sunday ! The clerk is talking on his phone… then looks at them and say 5$… they pay and he goes back to his phone to keep talking … when we got home ! The first bagel in the bag is mouldy! The person should pay more attention to the product and how long was this bag of fresh bagel on the racks to get mouldy ! Very disappointed !

This NYC girl did not like the bagels here. They use Philadelphia cream cheese....that alone tells you a lot about a bagel place.Ordered 3 bagels to go. One with smoked salmon and the other ones with just cream cheese. No scallion cream cheese or onions in a smoked lox bagel sandwich? This is definitely a first. And yuck it was not good. Even the smoked salmon tasted very low quality. The bagel did have a nice crunchy texture on the outside but the inside was way too soft with not enough chewiness.Perhaps I'm biased since I really believe I had some of the best bagels in Manhattan but this place did not even come close.

We went in and bought a dozen of warm sesame seeds bagels right out of the oven. When my husband asked about cinnamon raisin bagels, he was told to come back in a couple of hours and there would be a dozen ready for him. Sure enough, when we came back a warm dozen packed in a paper bag with two separate plastic bags was ready for pick up. The two gentlemen behind the counter were very friendly and accommodating, the bagels are doughy and delicious, just the way we like them. We will definitely return to Beaubien Bagels every time we come back to Montréal!

For many, it would be sacrilegious for me to say that these are the best bagels in Montreal, but my heart and my taste buds tell me that this is the god's honest truth. Nice light, fluffy, sweet, perfectly crusty bagel. Absolutely outstanding.

Been a customer for 6 years. Bagels are OKish. Customer service has never been great. On our last visit, they very rudely refused to give my spouse a receipt because amount was only 5$".Not going back after this."
