Came here on motorcycle tour. We were tenting, and utilizing their restaurant. Brilliant!!! Fantastic locally sourced food. Super friendly hosts, very accommodating. Great toilet and shower facilities. Will definitely visit again.

Awesome cinnamon buns and yummy burgers. Easy in and out. Super friendly staff. Great gift shop and has RV sites. Open 11-3 Thurs- Sun.

Can’t explain why I’ve not been here before. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, the decor was appropriately charming, and the menu was simple but entirely mouth watering.I had the turkey club on the herb and cheese bun, and a bite of the grill cheese. All perfect.But we finished off with coffee and the cinnamon buns and apple “harvest” roll, and they are so so so so good!Great view, great food, great ambience. Five stars across!

The Historic Chilcotin Lodge
The lodge is a lovely and very welcoming family-run place. Our friendly hosts were happy to point us to the nearby sights (Farewell Canyon, and swimming in Callanan Lake, in our case - it was too hot for any hikes during our visit in July). The food was great and we ended up having dinner, breakfast and (packed) lunch for the 2 days we were there. Very recommended stopover for the trip from/to Bella Coola!

My stay at the lodge was great. The owners had a real passion for the space and were very knowledgeable about the history of the area. Food was on point and everything was well thought out in regards to COVID restrictions. I spent two nights there on a work trip and would definitely recommend to anyone passing through the area. Super friendly owners and family made the experience a home run. Planning to come back and visit on my bike this summer.

We had a very wonderful time here for our parents 60th wedding anniversary. The hospitality and service were outstanding. They went above and beyond to make our time memorable. Food was great and the rooms were very cozy. The historic setting made it all the better! Thank you, Brenda and family!

The Historic Chilcotin Lodge
Just an amazing stay. We stayed 1 night in the cozy, authentic room, enjoyed the best, most comfortable lodge with a fireplace. Everyone went above and behind to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I recommend to take the detour from Williams Lake, even if you stay only one night. We did and did not regret it. And eat the cinnamon rolls! They are amazing.
