USTA Martial Arts-Marysville

This is a wonderful place for kids to learn not just taekwondo techniques, but also character building. They focus on things like reading, behavior at home and school, and helping around the house with chores. They change topics every couple of months as well. My son Charlie is 7 now and has been going for about 2 years. He has grown so much in attitude and respect. You can also tell a physical change with his coordination and strength. This is not just a place to drop your kid off for an activity. Your child gets the most out of it when you work with the instructors to track behavior and attitude outside the dojang. This is a community and all the staff are friendly and really care.

My daughter has grown so much physically & mentally, and she has so much more confidence in herself since starting at USTA! I really thought that we would be cycling through sports, and Taekwondo would be short lived, but she LOVES it and her instructors… over a year later! The instructors teach the kids the importance of respect, community, patience, and hard work… not just with the sport, but includes school and home as well. Good behavior and education are enforced and rewarded with badges to be warn proudly. We use “_______ (sit/stand still/be patient/etc) like a black belt” at home with all three of our girls!Most of all, my daughter looks up to these instructors so much!!! She has many wonderful mentors with USTA, and hopefully for quite some time.My only regret is not starting her sooner. I’ll hopefully have the youngest child in the tigers soon, she is asking!!!

I am very happy my kids go to USTA. They have really good staff. Mr. bullock who is the manager at this location very understanding. My daughter have autism it gets hard for her to focus but mr bullock, Brady n Andy they all cooperate with her. So I will recommend this place . They teach kids how to be respectful n kind to others.

We've had a great experience at USTA. It took my son about a month to really get the hang of it -- the classes are fast-paced -- but he loves it now. Classes always start on time and are well-planned. The instructors are kind and approachable, but still manage to keep the kids on track and well-behaved.

I am so happy I found this place!!! It has been such a blessing for our family!! My kids absolutely love it and are beyond excited to attend every week. It has improved their behavior and attitude immensely. They are learning so much!!

My kids have always been so shy and afraid to do things like this. And have tried a few different sports. This so far has been the only thing they've ever done that has improved how they socialize and help them breakout of their comfort zone. We habe had 6 lessons now and they have grown so much in such a short time. I'm truly impressed. The environment is so positive. Highly recommend for every child at any age.

One of the best spaces for kids and the community! My daughter felt like a part of the family from the minute she walked in on the first day! The care of kids and a positive environment make USTA Marysville what it is. Learning Martial Arts skills is an added bonus!!

Usta has helped my child's confidence level and has made him more responsible at home and at school by holding them accountable for school work and high expectations. We have enjoyed our time here. We made long-term friendship
