Ordered for lunch for the first time today. Had never had roti before, but wanted to try for a while! We ordered the Paneer Makhani and Chicken and both were absolutely delicious. Fresh food with excellent flavours! Portions were huge and plenty of paneer and chicken - some places skimp of the proteins but not here. Will definitely order again.

Yum!Do it.The chutney alone is pretty special.I had the paneer. The mini was plenty of food. I had the cabbage soup, too.Soul food from another land.

Tried this place for the first time out of a recommendation. My only complaint would be the portion size are very large and more like two meals. LolHighly recommend this place. Parking can be a little bit tight. However, they have a pick up area a discovered right beside the restaurant entrance which is off the Main Street.

The vegan option on the day of our visit was a flavourful rice / channa / vegetable mix that could have (also) been wrapped in roti skin, was tasty, and came with a delicious chutney.Service was prompt and friendly. We look forward to returning.

Fully obsessed. Best food, BEST service. You truly cannot beat this hidden gem. Parking downtown in general sucks, but you figure it out in order to get Underground Kitchen. Not their fault!

Excellent portions and Value. Tasty, friendly service. That chutney! You need to bottle it!! To die for. Thank you for a wonderful lunch. Coleslaw was on point.

Overview: Food was was a good portion and did have a nice flavour. Averaged pricing $8-10. The staff were very friendly and helped answering questions.If you’re looking for super authentic ... this is more of a Canadianized version. They have daily specials that they serve only that day but also have staple items that will be there each time you go.“Express” or takeout style service. Food appears to be made fresh and kept on a hot table for when you order. However the roti was made fresh to order.There are two picnic tables inside for you to eat inside or they are close to the river and public spaces are there for you to eat at.The food: We had the jerk chicken- not super spicy, rice and peas were really good, coleslaw was fine but a little hard to eat due to the size of the pieces.And chicken roti- roti shell was good and the chicken and potatoes inside were cooked perfectly. Flavour was good. Hot sauce was served with our meals but it was more sweet than spicy.If you’re looking for a good meal that’s different from your usual, definitely give it a try!
