We have a pet named saint that is a Doberman pincher and we rushed him to the animal vet hospital and luckily we had this insurance but the insurance is HORRIBLE!We paid and have submitted our claim almost a month ago and we DO NOT hear back from Goose! We have chatted on their website and even their own representative says that their company is not responding to claims and unsure why and they keep apologizing but not solving anything…We have reached out over 7 times now and have gotten no response and any time we call, they give us the runaround.UPDATE: They finally paid the claim and are being more helpful. They took a while though, let’s see how they are moving forward…

So I've just renewed annual trip medical. In reading reviews before I bought, people are wondering re the claims process. So here is mine. I broke a bone on day 2 of my cruise. I contacted Goose ( Togo underwriter ) by phone as the ship is making arrangements for me to get treatment ashore. Although the emergency dept ashore wanted payment up front, I found the calls I made to get advice re next steps to be very helpful. They told me the trip interruption would even cover if my treatment delay in emerg would have required me to catch up with the ship at the next port. Fortunately I made it back to the ship on time. Once my claim was submitted it was paid. Albeit it ended up being a relatively small claim but there were no issues getting the claim processed and cheque received. So for those wondering re claims my experience convinced me to sign up again and once again include the trip interruption. Worth it for me.

The Goose Insurance App caught my eyes when I was browsing the app store. It was well designed and made so easy to sign up and get insurance in seconds. Cost is low and first month free now. I look forward to new products like auto and home insurance.Also though we are not traveling right now but when things are back to normal I believe this app is great for travelers, business or leisure, since its just a click and go.

I just installed app and found it is easy to use. It is very low cost compare with other insurance. 3 stars for a good app, 2 more stars when I purchase and make a claims to see how is customer response for help.

I have not purchased Goose, but thinking about it. I like the 35 day option. Everyone says it is easy to buy and they are quick to take your money ... has anyone had to use it? Feedback would be great.

This is a Canadian owned and operated business that offers great protection for those who are traveling especially during these challenging times. They offer trip cancellation insurance and also covid-19 coverage insurance.. I heard about them while listening to 680 news in Toronto

I’m actually going to review these reviews. I scrolled and scrolled through dozens of positive reviews about how easy it is to sign up and buy travel insurance. Ummm, really? It was easy to give them your money?? Wow. What I want to know is how easy it is to get money out of them when you have to make a serious claim. That’s the information I need. That’s what matters.UPDATE: quite a few people have seen this review so I thought I’d do an update. We went with BCAA travel insurance. Ugh. Year long policy. $235 per month for the both of us. Here’s my problem though. The customer service is awful. Almost non-existent. I tried to file a claim and got no response then I followed up and found out I was supposed to download and print some form, fill that out and file it with the receipts I had already sent in. Frustrating. Especially in a third world country while I’m travelling. I guess I’ll learn more when we get home but I’m not happy with it.
