Mr. Lube + Tires

THEIVES! Buyer Beware! When I came in to this location for a tire change I left with a different bolt set on my car. They steal a nice factory bolt and replace it with a garbage aftermarket bolt. This has happened to me twice in 1 year. Illegal and Unsafe. Stay away if you care about your vehicle.

Did my oil change there plenty of times, got my Tires changed for winter to summer and vice versa, had a nail in my tire and fixed it for almost $60. Have taken the staff coffee and donuts from Tim’s as they were always nice. Always had great service as the manager was a South American gentleman, always willing to help and please.Today, had a little less air in one of my tires, and the S. American manager was not there as he was on vacation. The lady in-charge, said that she is going to charge me to fill air in one of the tires. ($10 to fill air - never knew air was so expensive) Said she would check my history, and kept me waiting for 10 minutes; when I decided to leave, as was not getting a response, she walked up and said that she would charge me.Don’t be so money minded, one would get more customers by being nice. Really sad to get this treatment. Shame on you Mr. Lube

I had a flat tire and I was able to come in here and get helped out by Ak and Andrew who quickly and efficiently, patched my tire and replaced it off the spare tire, so I was able to make it into work on time today. They were extremely friendly an extremely efficient. I will definitely be back.

I had a great experience with this location.Did my seasonal tire change here. Good price.It was busy but they had many employees working fast and efficiently.I interacted with a couple of them, they were all polite and got the job quickly.

I went through a horrible experience at another location where they would not stop aggressively pushing different products or services on me, and this location is fabulous. Marco was able to help order me in new all year tires and give me a competitive price on them. He also answered all my questions and didn’t rush me off the phone. When I went in for the tire change, AK was fabulous and the team were very fast and detailed in their service. They let me know that my the key to get the lug nuts off was almost fully stripped and I’d need to get a new one for the winter probably but never once pressured me to buy one right away!

This location has terrible customer service and they completely ripped me off. I went to get the tires changed on my car, but I wanted them to make sure that one of the tires could be installed properly as it had a nail in it. As such, I asked the mechanic to make sure that the wheel could be completely repaired, and he said that it needed to be repaired and it would cost $48.99. I asked again if it could be fixed completely and he said yes, so I told him to go ahead with the repair. Meanwhile, another mechanic came over and said that they have installed 3 tires and the last one will be installed shortly, and she told me the cost of the job. Thinking that I would have all 4 tires changed and fully functional, I agreed and paid as she brought over the machine. Shortly after I had paid, she came back to tell me that the tire could not be replaced because the rubber had worn off and that I would require a new tire. When I asked the cost of the new tire, she said it would be $335, and I asked if I could get the cost of the “repair” discounted from that because the initial tire wasn’t really repaired, and she said yes they can do that. I talked to my Dad, and he found that the cost of the tire at Mr. Lube was really expensive and that we will get it done elsewhere. I asked her what I can do now, and she said that to make sure the wheel alignment doesn’t get messed up, keep two winter tires and two summer tires. I agreed to that and since the tire wasn’t really repaired, I asked if I could get the cost of the repair refunded to which she refused. I don’t understand how she can agree to a discount but refuse a refund knowing that the tire was not repaired. When I questioned her about this, she said that when we saw it from the outside it looked repairable, but the damage was on the inside and there was no way of knowing without removing the rim. I restated that I wanted the tire to be checked completely to make sure that it can be repaired and installed. To this, she said that if she wanted them to check for damage on the inside, I should have mentioned it. I told her that I have little knowledge as to where damage can occur on the tire whereas she is a mechanic, and she should have known and checked for it. When asked if she knew that there could be potential damage on the inside, she said yes. Yet she refused the refund, and another mechanic came over and simply stated that he wasn’t going to argue with me and gestured me to leave while the other mechanic walked away. I did not get my tire repaired yet they charged me for it and I feel completely ripped off as they completely ignored my instructions and put the blame on me.

BUYER BEWARE THEY CHARGE $3.99 FOR SHOP SUPPLIES MANAGER SAYS ITS FOR USING THE TOOLS? THEY PUT THAT CHARGE ON YOUR BILL WHEN YOU ARE CHECKING OUT. He said its like they charge you to use the utensils at a restaurant. Then HEAD OFFICE MIKE says its for sanitation which they do not sanitize the tools or wash their hands. Nobody could give me a straight answer. They have added this without your consent to the bill and they have to inform you off charges. When you in the bay you cannot see it on the screen its added once you get your bill. I have called the local paper to investigate these charges and contacted the BBB. They cant seem to come up with the right answer for the $3.99 people. look at your BILL...be aware of the charges they have made up. Can you imagine the profit they are getting from charging every customer. This is a bogus charge on your bill. I spoke to several oil change places and they never heard of shop charges for using the tools. BEWARE GOING TO THIS MR LUBE !!!

I should have read the reviews before coming here.. First I called to make sure they actually repair tires and had experience previous to my visit. Customer service was great and they replaced and checked all that should be done as far as oil change and top ups. Then onto my one tire that had a leak and needed to be fixed. I was in the car as he was jacking up my ride and I was wondering how it was going so I came out to take a look only to see my side skirt hanging off beside the jack and the under bodywork under my car mashed in. As a sensible person you can see that as you are jacking up the car pieces are coming apart probably you should stop and reset the jack; but no, buddy finished and then said I should bring it to a mechanic to fix it when he just broke it off. Not even a sorry from the guy, he acted as if it didn't happen from him and was just taking payment before i lose my cool. Train the guys before you have them touching people's stuff because I could have been real different about this whole situation. The fact that he didn't know where to put the jack under a car as a young man baffles me. I had to ask for a manager and then they reattached the skirt which is easy to them but now my door to fender has a gap it never had before. I know it's just a car but respect my property. Please train the employees and check that they know how to do the job properly.

I went to Mr. Lube on a Saturday in November to have my winter tires changed. Since they were very busy, I left my car with them and asked them to call me when they were done.I did not receive a call for several hours so I proceeded to call them to find out status. They then informed my that my car wouldn’t start and that it seemed to be a battery issue. I was also advised that my car key was broken but not to worry as they would resolve everything and call me in a few hours.My car had no issues when I brought it in, the car key was slightly broken but I advised them of this and told them to be careful when starting it. There was absolutely no issues with the battery.I trusted that they would do what they said and resolve this issue that they caused and change my winter tires. After a couple hours went by and I still haven’t heard from them, I called again and they advised me that they were still working on my car and that they would call me when it was done.Of course, they did not call me back and it was end of day at this point, dark and a full blown winter snow storm was upon us. When I arrived they gave the fob, which was separated from they key as they key was in the car and told me that it was my issue and there was nothing they can do.I had to call a tow truck to take my car to the auto shop, not knowing what they have done. They drained my battery completely by trying to start the car repeatedly. They separated the key fob from they key which triggered the anti theft systems which prohibited the car from starting. You would think that they would know this.They took no responsibility for what they have done, they were rude and argumentative when I called them later to complain about my service. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.If you don’t want you car to be damaged and have additional issues, I suggest you go somewhere else for service. I will never be returning to this location and will be taking legal action so that a judge can actually hold them accountable for their negligence.

I have been using Mr Lube Milton for my BMW oil and filter change since the last 2 years. They have been efficient and their service has been impeccable. The people have been very respectful and I always admire their customer service. I have been recommended by many to go to Canadian Tire or other places for service as I may save some bucks. But I havent tried. For me quick service, at any time, with great customer service is a big plus point, this time A.K and Mark did a great job checking the oil levels. Thank you!
