It’s a nice beginner hike if you only get to the scenic point but it can get pretty rough to get to the top. It’s just unfortunate there is no view at the “Sommet”. There are only 2 picnic table surrounded by trees. There is only one scenic point by the old church and it is accessible after a 25-30 minutes hike. The view is very pretty there, but the signs were pretty confusing all along the hike. I had to use another app on the side to make sure I was taking the right trails

Went for a winter snowshoe hike with two kids after 30cm snowfall. Wow! Breathtaking views of snow on trees. We went early so it was quiet and trails were clear. We ended up doing a 6.5km trail. Tired but fun!

Camping (sector La Crete, May 2022). Oka park has a lot of services such as a fully furnished camp store, rental shop for bikes, a fast-food restaurant and a clothing store. There are lots of activities available (hiking, biking, kayaking). It's a great spot for family camping and given it's close to Montreal that makes it very accessible. The bathrooms are very clean and plentiful. Showers are also acceptable. If you're tent camping, just bring additional protection from the rocky floor. We usually have a tarp underneath and layer the inside with old yoga mats.

Been there both in summer and winter. Summer is perfect, a little crowded but still the beach is quite nice for the distance you drive from Mtl. The cross country trails are very nice too, well-maintained and almost all flat and except few small slopes.

We hiked both Clavaire trail & Le Sommet trails. The Clavaire Trail is a lovely hike with a wonderful lookout; enjoyed the rest points with churches/chalets as well. Le Sommet Trail is rocky and steep; there are two picnic tables at the top and that’s it, no views. Lots mosquitoes in both trails, some mosquito spray would be necessary. Both trails are doggie friendly!
