Real Canadian Superstore Don Mills Road

- We usually going there every weekend to pick up grocery, wehadgood experience with. Employers were all ways nice and helpfull to us.-Definitely we can give five stars for them.-Two weeks ego when we did self check out ,one of theemployers, she came to us and she said, make sure scan everyitems properly, especilally big items......-She said that.-Could you believe it ?-She can come to costumers and asult them ?-Afther we noticed, we could see many new younge faces , whoare watching the costumers.-We've embarassed.-This never happand before.-I don't know , is a new company policy or just something from the new managment.

I love this place. It always seems to have nice fresh vegetables. Their prices are better on some products at other places and a little higher on other products.... but I personally think it's collusion amongst the stores.I would recommend this place.

It's the only real caandian superstore I goto and it's always consistent. Plenty of covered and uncovered parking area. The store is on the first floor with easy elevator and flat escalator access. Plenty of store access doors, spacious area which has multiple businesses on site including pharmacy, optician and flower shop. The store sells great produce, a very decent bakery section along with meats, clothes, groceries, over the counter pharmacy items, cosmetics and much more. The place is immaculately clean, well stocked and easy to navigate. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They also have a self checkout section now. Overall a great place which is seldom very croweded.

A bit over priced compared to other places but has a wide variety of products.Meat lovers gonna enjoy this store chain.Also it is at a good spot with good parking.

This place is trash. Most of the time, the vegetables and fruit are rotten. Expired cheeses and bread still out for sale. A lot of the staff just watch you. A couple of weeks ago Saturday, I went there on my lunch break around 15:30. Realizing the line was going to take too long, I returned what I took and left. If memory recalls, it was some wedges and humus. As I was leaving, someone on the PA system was calling for loss prevention. Oddly enough, about 10 min later, I hear a few police cruisers' sirens wailing. Went back later that day and a lot of employees were giving me the stink eye. All of the self checkout stalls would automatically lockout after use. A few days later and everyone was sooo 'welcoming.'I suspect it was the meat manager that lied and cried wolf. I walked by him earlier. The dude tried to manufacture a moment of checking the 'quality' of an empty fridge. He must've gotten nervous because I was 'walking fast'; which is normal for me considering my height. The W.A.S.P. was sure oozing out of his pasty face that day. I've even caught them deliberately block my debit card transactions a few times. Stay away from this place and go to Metro. At least, they are somewhat open about their racist tendencies. They also don't cry wolf to the cops when you put things back where you found them.Happy biweekly wolf cry anniversary. Say hi to 'asset' protection and the meat manager.

Many shelves are half empty and it looks like they (the management) have given up on the store post covid. Not too many people are visiting this huge store, so there is always plenty of free parking spots. I hope to see this store back in it's former glory.

The check out lady was extremely nice. She was smiling at everyone, chatting with customers, all while efficiently processing orders. So it CAN be done...It sounds simple but honestly, this kind of service is so rare now it stands out. I'm sorry I didn't get her name but she really made my day.

I go here pretty regularly as an Instacart shopper but also have done personal shopping as well and have experienced every aspect of the store all the way from customer service to the quality of produce, the availability of stock from dairy to frozen and regular non perishable items on the shelves and I must say I’m not really impressed. The staff here are not the friendliest just to begin and they can do much better in that respect. I cannot say that I have met a single somewhat friendly staff here that have made me feel like they want to help and/or are approachable, it often feels like they just want to get the job done and get through the day. Unlike a store like Walmart where staff tend to be significantly friendlier, are approachable and show willingness to help when approached. Next bad thing is often moldy and/or poor quality produce. I’ve lost count to how many times I’ve picked up produce that have had mold on them and I had to put it back because of it and quality of items have been very bad, but when you tell the staff about it they don’t really seem to care and/or do much to fix the situation. The next thing is the organic isle often has a bad stench due to some dairy going bad when I’ve inquired about it and often I’ve had to lift my shirt over my nose so I don’t get the whiff of it, again another issue that never gets addressed and fixed.In the end I really don’t recommend this store since it’s a hit and miss with everything the only good thing I could think of is the price matching aspect which helps you save a bit of money here and there but other than that there isn’t much good things to think of about the store and there are definitely much better stores out there to get significantly better quality produce and customer service than here.

Great store, very clean, they price match without giving dirty looks and there is a Womens only gym on top. So convenient.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Consistently 20-40 minute wait times for PC Express order pickup, absolutely terrible.Staff are not trained well. Store stock is hit and miss. This place will only go even more downhill once all the new condo developments that surround it open.
