A Nanny for U is a wonderful company and would highly recommend! They are so professional and so quickly to respond to you and will always let you know if something has changed in the schedule, they are very on top of things. Everyone there is super sweet and always thinks about others first. They are also very reliable!!

I was recently hired as a back up care nanny for A Nanny For U. Within less than 24 hours of being hired, I resigned due to learning a couple of things.- The company is not forthright with all of their policies. Specifically, their policy for when a nanny is required to take care of a sick child. The handbook simply states you will be caring for children who are mildly ill. On the day of hire, I spoke with the owner of the company and she explained to me that the back up nanny is required to work unless the child/children have a fever above 103. This is what the company considers mildly ill. This is not spelled out in the handbook or contract the company has you sign. The back up care nanny is not given a choice as to what they are exposed to as well as they aren’t allowed to warn the next family they work for that they might be sick due to recently caring for a very sick child.- Secondly after resigning, I found out that the company planned to have me work on my first day without my background check having cleared. When returning my employment stuff I asked them to see the background check and they were very abrupt in saying that you don’t have another option, either pay us the $100 for the background check or it goes to collections. At that point I asked again to have a copy of the results from my background check and they couldn’t even give me that because it was still pending. It didn’t clear until halfway through the day. This concerns me for the families that use this company. The families have the expectation that the nanny has been cleared and doesn’t have a record.Alyssa who works in the office was very kind and helpful during this process, I didn’t feel this way about the other staff.

This place was so great! Having been a full-time, professional nanny for 16 years I feel I've seen it all. I was placed right away with a wonderful family. The process was one of the best experiences I've ever had finding a position. I felt NannyforU had my back through the whole thing. Having a professional service meet/interview the family even before I met with them was a huge time and energy saver. The office was professional, communicative, and efficient. I highly recommend.
