Fantastic Beginner Class - MAC has a natural teacher way about him. In 7 hrs. You work along side him as he teaches you the fundamentals of smithing. You take home two works you create during the day. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in smithing.

I gifted my bf a date over here for his 30th birthday. We both spent 4 hours making a copper rose from scratch! Knowing nothing about blacksmithing, I would have been perfectly happy just with a few petals on a stem. But that wasn't the case. It was far more detailed and intricate than I would ever expect. Apart from Mac being a fantastic teacher, taking us through basics, given us enough time and opportunities to try every step in the making of the copper rose, he was a very pleasant individual, who continued to engage us with a range of topics. There wasn't a single dull moment the entire time we were there. I highly recommend this as a date night, though I would be perfectly happy to do this with any loved one, say a parent, a sibling, a daughter/son or a friend too.

I bought the knife forging class for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. The class was just over 5.5 hrs long, and worth every minute! Mac is a very friendly guy, easy going, and very knowledgeable about the forging process. He was very patient with us, as it was our first time forging, which was nice, and he helped out when it was needed. I would recommend his class to anyone who is looking to forge for the first time as it was an amazing experience!

Mac is a great teacher, plain and simple. He does his trade credit, has a wealth of knowledge and, best of all, he's worked out a quick, effective and safe way to show a layman like myself how it all works and what I was capable of. He's a pretty cool guy to boot, lol! If he can teach me, he can teach you. Thanks very much, Mac!
