It's a nice quite park , it was a lot nicer before the city came and cut down all the shrubbery . What's up with that anyways ? Does the city of Calgary want all of our parks to be barren grass hills . I'm not b really cool with that, if I wanted grassy hills I would go to nose hill park . So CITY OF CALGARY : STOP CUTTING DOWN ALL THE SHRUBBERY IN OUR PARKS , ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ! It's still a nice park but keep in mind this is an off leash area .. I have seen deer there on occasion .

This area needs to be monitored. There are vehicle break ins, catalytic converters have been stolen, and vagrants who try to access the rail tracks. Not far from here are homeless encampments.

Soccer game. Not very much parking for the number of vehicles in the area. Love the new paved access road.

Save your money and ditch the zoo. Take the walk around it. You see animals. Great place to take your dog!

Great park to start ab dog walk! Get all the sniffs in and washroom duties, before the high social stimulation of meeting all sorts of other dogs! (Which is great!) The the view of the city is beautiful once you merge into Tom Campbell's hill!

Best visit to the Calgary Zoo yet! There were more animals to see at the zoo this sunny Sunday afternoon than during the middle of the summer. Lots of animals were out and were close to the fences to enjoy. We got to see all the animals in the Canadian area, including an eagle and snow owl. We got see a one week old baby zebra. It wasn't too busy today either, so you didn't have to wait for food in the cafeteria. There was a bit of a wait for our lattes attend Starbucks since only one person was working at the time.
