The Home Depot

My family and I always go here as our first choice when needing something from a hardware store. The store is a little small compared to the ones where I'm from. One employee that really stands out to me is Julia from the paint section. Incredible and clearly she loves her job.

Pleasant staff. The kids enjoy the kids workshop, great event. Love the varieties of the garden centre.

It's our favorite Home Depot because, although it's almost always busy, they seem to have the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff as any other stores. It's worth the extra few minutes drive to get there.

This is my local Home Depot and perhaps I just got used to the good service. My visit on July 2 was above and beyond from two perspectives. First, I was looking for a product in the garden centre not on shelf but apparently in stock. Even though they were busy, the team found it on a pallet and brought it down. Some may see this as 'the job' but I was impressed with the enthusiasm to find what I was looking for. The second was in the hardware department. I was looking for a replacement spring latch which apparently is not sold as an individual item. The team member told me to hang on while he climbed a ladder to his magical box of spare parts, found what I was in need of and handed it to me - free of charge. Sadly did not take the time to mention this at the customer service desk but rest assured, this will be my go to store for a long time. Thank you!

I was assured in store ordering online would be less than a week for delivery. Even after 2 weeks I wasn't thrilled, but I was still hopeful. After 3 WEEKS I get a message saying it's going to take ANOTHER WEEK! THE PROJECT DEADLINE IS OVER!

Came with a month old receipt after realizing that an item was mistakenly checked out twice instead of once. Had no proof to show that it was a blunder on their part. However, despite the price to refund being over 200 dollars the lady at the front desk, Rachel, was kind enough to look into it with the manager, Sandeep. Unfortunately for me, the inventory count of that certain item matched the count in their database and the situation was not looking good for me. However, the two employees were kind enough to trust me and give me back the full refund. 5 stars for both Rachel and Sandeep since this type of customer service is not common in most retail stores.

I was looking for tool storage options. This store had all the options available to compare. The Husky packout was high up still in a box. The associate got it down for me so I could touch it and feel it for myself. This is my preferred Home Depot even though there are stores closer to my house, because the Associates are knowledgeable and friendly always.

I always enjoy going to this store (especially for equipment/tool rental) but my visit last Sunday went above and beyond my usual experience. We had to replace our failing BBQ even though it wasn't really in our budget, and Home Depot currently have the best selection of BBQs value for dollar compared to other stores, so we headed over and happily discovered a Canadian-made model on clearance. Devon was there to help; he let us know that the last one in stock was the display model, provided us with assistance to the check-out, and arranged help for loading. He also made our day with a further discount on our purchase, because it was the floor/demo unit. Thank you again Devon, those small acts of kindness go a long way! From the time of entering the store, we went from stressed about replacing our BBQ to being elated, and we also enjoyed a great dinner that evening. Providing that consistent level of quality and value to customers is why I prefer shopping at Home Depot Tuscany.
