Went with a couple of friends and we all enjoyed a great meal. I had the prosciutto chicken with mixed veggies. The presentation was absolutely stunning, and the flavouring was rich, textured, and full.I cannot wait to get back to Local! Their staff is friendly, both the food presentation and quality goes well beyond what one would expect for the price points, they have a high quality selection of craft beers, and their busyness indicates that our community has embraced this restaurant with open arms!

If you find yourself looking for a well priced, locally sourced, fantastic tasting meal, this is the place. Without question it's worth the drive from Sarnia to Wyoming. Compared to a lot of places, it's also worth the drive from London, or most of SW Ontario.Food is sourced as locally as possible, drinks are from local breweries, wineries and where possible distilleries and all taste fantastic!Service is excellent, and the atmosphere is as inviting as it can be.A gem in Lambton county for sure.- The place was packed even on a Thursday. They were still able to offer food and service worthy of 5 stars. That should say something.

I had the pleasure of attending the soft opening of Local this past weekend. The vibes were amazing and the food and drinks were even better! You would have never guessed this was their first time serving a large group. We started with the onion dip and I had the prosciutto chicken (in photo), both were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu. The owners Olivia, Aaron, Kendra, and Rodney were so welcoming. Our server Stephany was just as amazing. 10/10 recommend checking out Local once they open on August 3rd!

My wife and I went on a Friday evening and enjoyed the Bison Wellington with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables on the side. We chose to try the feature appetizer which was also delicious. The staff were great, the atmosphere was simple and comfortable. We will likely be back in the not to distant future.

Great local food and portions, menu had a lot of options including vegetarian, local breweries on tap and the servers were absolutely delightful! Will definitely be back soon to try another option on the menu.

Local is our favourite little slice of heaven! I can’t find words to describe the outstanding service, food and atmosphere.Last night they accommodated a 20 person reservation for a birthday party for my wife. With a mixture of adults, children and babies they made us all feel at home. The children’s menu is simple but outstanding and each one cleared their plate. As for the adults the cheese dip, bison Wellington and the butternut squash were only a few drool worthy plates we enjoyed! Always hot, always fresh, always delicious. I cannot recommend Kendra and her team enough! You MUST give them a try!

You have to eat here!!!I have been here a couple times now. Both for lunch and dinner. It was incredible! This is a must try location that sources all of its food, beer, and spirits from as locally as possible. Locally owned and operated is the key to success here. They are so accommodating with kids and the service and staff are efficient and friendly.We will be back 100%

The name exudes confidence. Local. Amazing. Let’s go there. Except don’t.It’s a cozy little place, totally cute, but for me, looks were deceiving.I started with the beer. That photo is the “can”. They don’t state what the pour is, but that has to be a Pepsi sized can with a bad pour and lots of head. Two of those. 15 bucks. Wow. Even Toronto pours aren’t this cheap. You should clarify what you’re dishing out.We were here for about 1 1/2 hours. I ordered the Caesar to start. Our table ordered two Bison Wellingtons and a Pappardelle pasta.40 minutes passed and the food rolled out. All at once.This restaurant is afraid of salt. The Caesar Salad tasted heavily of mayonnaise (not sure how) and had no bite. Garlic? Naw. Salt? Naw. It was super one note. I ate half. It didn’t help that this massive salad came with the main. Cause that’s exactly what I meant when I said to start.The Bison Wellington. S. A. L. T. The gravy has potential but again, no flavours. The Wellington was a 5/10. I’ve cooked full on Beef Wellingtons several times and I load the duxelles with flavour. There wasn’t any here. The gravy was bland, the meat didn’t have any flavour to it. My potatoes were cold. You can tell they cook these things ahead of time and dish them out when they’re needed. Not good. The best thing I ate the entire night were the vegetables on the plate with the random assortment of flowers that felt like they were there to take attention away from the lack of flavour.My friend got the Pappardelle pasta. The base sauce was decent, full of garlic and butter, but the noodles were bland and lacked the overall flavouring of the dish. The vessel didn’t match the meal. Also 10 bucks for sirloin. TEN BUCKS. There was maaaaaybe 3 ounces. 5 small pieces, and I mean small. Not worth it.Our experience was bad. Your experience may not match this but the service just wasn’t there for us in a packed restaurant. I wish them all the best and hope that our experience was a one off, but it was enough of a bad one to prohibit me from ever going here again.

The food is absolutely incredible. Seriously high end local fare, with reasonable prices. The owners and staff are also wonderful people. An absolute gem in the middle of a progressive county setting.
