John from Primal Plumbing was recommended to me by a colleague that I know has very high standards of workmanship.Even though I have never hired a Plummer before in my 66 years, based on my coworkers recommendation, I decided to take a chance and call John about a rather large, and what turned out to be a bit complicated plumbing job on my daughters “fixer upper”. I was on a very tight schedule as they do not have a working bathroom and they moving in, in the next few weeks with a 4 month old baby! I immediately felt that John understood the importance of this and more importantly he cared!I cannot recommend John highly enough!He charges by the hour and he worked like a “dog”. I don’t think I even saw him take any sort of lunch break. He showed up when he said he was going to and when, do to circumstances beyond his control he was going to be late, he called me and let me know that he would be late and he more than more than made up for it by staying late. In other words, he never made his problem my problem.He did beautiful work and I am fussy. He found creative solutions to a problem that arose from past poor workmanship. He offered alternative more cost effective, but still safe solutions. Offering several solutions in different price points speak to Johns knowledge and honesty.I seems to me that John genuinely cares about the quality of his work and his customers. Unfortunately, this seems to be a rare quality in this day and age.I cannot recommend him highly enough and I will for sure call him again for any future plumbing jobs. When he does such a wonderful job, it is not worth it to me to make 10 trips and to Home Depot and countless hours doing it myself when I can call John and it will done right the first time !Terry Weatherhead

John was able to accomodate my short notice. John was on time, to the minute. He was fast and efficient, and would explain everything he needed to do. I would highly recommend John, and will continue to use him in the future!

We had a emergency, leak in our main line coming into the house. Basement laundry room was turning into a pond and quick. John was here within a few hours. Explains the job, does his thing, cleans up and gone. 10/10 experience. Primal will be the only company I call going forward.Thanks again John .

Nothing but 5 stars! On time, communicative and reliable. John did the plumbing part of a bathroom vanity install which had to be done in two trips. He was quick, knew what he had to do and Extremely professional. We will definately be calling him for future projects! Thank you John!

Primal Plumbing was recommended to me by a neighbour and it was one of the best tips I've ever received. John and Liam were fantastic. They were both quick and efficient, polite and friendly. John took the time to have a look at some other plumbing issues I had and made some excellent suggestions. I've already recommended Primal and will continue to do so. He handled the job quickly and efficiently and, as usual, explained what the problem was and things I could do to avoid future problems. We're very grateful.

At the recommendation of my local Newcastle RONA hardware store, John of Primal Plumbing does AWESOME work for a recent renovation that I undertook myself!I DYI'd our new wall mounted vanity which needed to be supported from within the wall cavity, because the drywall and ceramic wall needed structural fortification.Though I have have a college diploma from 1978 in Plumbing Design, I am NOT a plumber! I only know theory of how it is sopposed to work; that's why one hires a professional.John Turner is your guy to do just that! He's also a neighbour a few streets over. Lastly, his work was reasonably priced.

They were very attentive to our requests and came out the next day ( wasn’t an emergency). They were also quick, but left no mess and did a great job. I’ll 100% be using them for future plumbing jobs.
