Engineered Air Highfield Plant

From day one, we got push back from the salesman (initials BA) who sold the job to our mechanical contractor. Engineered Air's refusal to take ownership of their product leaves the end user helpless with regards to getting satisfying customer service. Although Engineered Air has been around for over 50 years, and just about every commercial roof in Alberta has, or has had, one of their pieces of equipment on their roof, thier level of quality has failed to keep up with the competition. They currently are producing big ugly metal boxes with little to no modern innovation integrated into their designs. The quality of finish on their equipment is a failure as well. Our most recent project included 9 EngA RTU's and MUA units along with a couple Carrier units. While the Carrier cabinets and components still shine like the day they were put into service, every one of the EngA units are fading and rusting. EngA even installed a new set of fan guards because the original ones had rusted badly within the first 12 months. 3 months after the replacements were installed, they too rusted and our salesman won't return our endless calls and emails. It feels like EngA is in a mad cash grab mode and the customer is the one paying for their inadequacies.
