The Waltzing Weasel
I had a really nice time in this place. They have an amazing outdoor patio and serve a nice selection of bar food and drinks. The wings and ribs were above average, but not on my all-time top list. In any case, if you want to have a nice, chill time with your friends over beer and bar food, go for it!

Went to the Waltzing Weasel last Sunday before London moved into the red zone to support local business. I've been to England and the Weasel has nailed the feel of a British pub. Sunday is fish and chip night. They have great value as they offer the $9 1 piece for both dine in and take out. We ordered the prime rib Yorkshire sliders to start and a Caesar. The g.f. was contemplating a cider and the bar keep brought over a sample for her to try. Good service! The Yorkie sliders were a nice starter. We got the fish and chips. Great fish and coleslaw. We weren't fans of the tarter sauce because it was miracle whip based but that would only turn off a mayo fan. I ordered a pint of Guinness to wash down my Caesar. We divided to finish with some deep fried mars bars. They were great, reminded us of the fair. There desserts are all $6. I would recommend a visit to the Waltzing Weasel.Update 2023....Went for Tuesday cheeseburger night. The g.f. and I both went with cheeseburgers and fries. The burgers were excellent and great value at $15. Great portion size and fresh toppings. Fries were good as well. Not sure the bar tenders name but always get amazing service when he's working (he is always working, served us when I wrote the original review). Went with the deep fried Mars bar for dessert, never disapoints. Great service as always.

The Waltzing Weasel
Two out of town families meeting for a soccer game forced us to find a place close by to eat at. I lived in London for 3 years and drove by the Waltzing Weasel many times and always thought about going. Well it didn't disappoint we had mid day meal outside on the patio. Never went inside ao can't comment on the decor or the facilities but the food was amazing. Staff was friendly and service was quick. I would go again to try something else off the menu.

One of London's best English style Pubs with great food and beer. First the beer and the Weasel has a great selection of beer with Irish Guinness, and English Kilkenny leading the list but they also have a good selection of Canadian beers on tap including the excellent Andersons Cream Ale.Then the food and that is excellent too! They have many English choices on their extensive menu but they also have Wings, Burgers and Wraps if English pub food is not your bag. However I strongly recommend the Steak Pie, the Shepherds Pie and Bangers and Mash. All 3 are made with high quality meat and vegetables and come served with really delicious gravy and are all cooked fresh - none of your reheated in the microwave meals here! Also offered as an option are their Fries. These are some of the best fries I have had in London! They look like hand-cut Chips I remember from England and are simply delicious when used to mop up the superb gravy from one of their Pies. They also have a very nice garden set out with tables amongst the flower beds and that is a lovely place to eat or have a beer on a warm summers afternoon or evening. All in all the Waltzing Weasel is one of the best Pubs and Eateries in London and don't be surprised if you have to line up at peak times - but its worth the wait if you do have to wait!

Poor Service and Disrespectful BehaviourI am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the incident that occurred during my visit to your restaurant on Canada Day. I had come to celebrate this special occasion with my friends and family, including my children who were excited about the festivities. However, the experience we had at your establishment was far from enjoyable. The primary issue arose when I encountered a problem with my order. As a personal dietary preference, I do not consume pork, and unfortunately, your menu did not clearly specify whether the ribs were made from pork or beef. In order to clarify this matter, I sought the assistance of the manager, who approached us with an unwelcoming demeanor and an evident lack of empathy. To my disbelief, the manager not only refused to accommodate my request for a change in the dish, citing its costliness as a reason, but she also displayed an alarming level of rudeness towards me and my family. In a manner that was highly unprofessional and distressing, she went so far as to threaten us with the involvement of law enforcement and demanded that we vacate the premises immediately. As a result, my children were left frightened and bewildered, unsure of what was unfolding before them.I must emphasize that this was an entirely unprecedented experience for me. I have frequented numerous establishments across Canada and have always been met with warmth, courtesy, and understanding. As a country known for its inclusivity, respect, and exceptional hospitality, I had expected nothing less on a day that is supposed to be a celebration of our national identity. The manager's behavior not only failed to align with the values that Canadians hold dear but also tarnished the reputation of your establishment. The Canada Day celebration that was meant to be a joyful occasion for my family turned into an upsetting ordeal, leaving us with a bitter taste in our mouths. It is disheartening to think that a single individual's demeanor can so negatively impact the perception of an entire establishment.I kindly request that you take this matter seriously and investigate the incident thoroughly. I urge you to reevaluate the conduct of your staff and take appropriate action against the manager responsible for this unfortunate incident. No customer should be subjected to such unprofessional behavior, particularly when dining out with their loved ones on a special occasion.Furthermore, I regret to inform you that, as a result of this distressing experience, I will never be returning to your restaurant. I can no longer trust that the service provided will meet the basic standards of respect and courtesy that customers deserve.I sincerely hope that you address this matter promptly and take the necessary steps to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. By doing so, you can restore the faith of customers who have been let down by your establishment and ensure that others do not have to endure the same distressing experience.

Top notch establishment! Great beer selection (I'd recommend the Anderson cream ale) and a classic British pub vibe. I ordered the cheeseburger (Tuesday special) and my wife ordered the chicken and brie sandwich - both were delicious. Fries were great, looked to be cut and fried on site. Convenient location along the Thames Valley Trail for bike/walking access and we saw some deer on our ride home!

The Waltzing Weasel
I recently visited The Waltzing Weasel with my family and friends to celebrate Canada Day, and I must say, it was a complete letdown. Our experience at this establishment was marred by the exceptionally rude behavior of the manager, who displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and respect. The manager's demeanor was cold and unfriendly, and her behavior towards us was downright disrespectful. Instead of making us feel like valued customers, she treated us as an inconvenience, dismissing our questions and concerns with a dismissive attitude. What should have been a joyful celebration turned into a stressful and unpleasant ordeal, especially for our yang kids. The manager's appalling behavior left a sour taste in our mouths and overshadowed any enjoyment we could have had. The Waltzing Weasel should be a place where families and friends can come together and have a memorable time, but our experience was far from that.Based on our experience, I cannot recommend The Waltzing Weasel to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. The rude and disrespectful behavior of the manager, makes this establishment one to avoid.

It's very convenient to the mini golf course and parking is also convenient. The kids love the fish chips, and it would be great if the set menu came with some fruits and vegetables.
