Absolutely stunning. My sister and I did an overnight pack trip and it was one of the most incredible experiences we’ve ever had. Our guides (Syd and friend) totally rocked- they were engaging and fun at dinner but also gave us space to have some bonding time both on the trail and at the campsite. The two day, one night option was good for beginners and well worth it. They had rain pants, rain coats, and hats for us to borrow. You can put snacks, a jacket and water in your saddle bag while you’re riding

Our tour guide, Shay, was wonderful and the views from the top were gorgeous! We took the 3-hour tour to the Tea House, which was busy but very cute. The horses were good matches to the riders’ experience level and our guide made sure everyone was comfortable. Our group was only 5 people, which was much better than the larger groups that other companies allow. It was nice to be able to park right by the stables, although the parking areas could have been more clearly marked. The check-in and check-out weren’t the most organized, but the experience as a whole was very fun and the staff clearly know the horses and the trails very well!

This was our second time riding with Timberline Tours. We did the 3.5 hr lake Agnes tea house one but the whole trip actually took around 4 hrs including the stops. The guide we had was awesome, super friendly and always with a smile on. They also provided a neat little birthday surprise for us! Would recommend as they rescue most of their horses as well.

Absolutely incredible experience. I was not sure if the 3 and 1/2 hour trip would be too long for my kids (10 and 7), but it was just perfect. Beautiful scenery. Felt safe making the trip to Little Beehive and back despite the fact that of us have any significant riding experience. This was my kid's favorite part of the entire trip. Sid was an excellent guide. Extremely knowledgeable. Learned all sorts of great facts about the region. Highly recommend!

I did the 3.5hr ride to Little Beehive and the tea house Lake Agnes back in June. I booked about a month prior before leaving Aust. I got to the location and we started the ride early as it was only myself and the guide. Super lucky, had a personalised tour. I highly recommend Timberline, my guide another Aussie was fantastic, the horses were great, it had been 30yrs since I had been on one and it was a gentle introduction back into riding. The horses certainly are loved and well cared for and as an added bonus they also rescue their horses as well. Highly recommend.

I have ridden with Timberline Tours many times over the last few years and they have always been great trips with spectacular views, wonderful horses, and knowledgeable guides. I love the horses Sue & Paul have as most of them are rescues and have individual stories of how they got to Timberline.I finally got to do a pack trip this year and it was more than amazing! Camp was comfortable and cosy - ready to move in on arrival. Food was superb. The experience was very relaxing as the guides did everything for us; giving us time to enjoy the horses in the fields and the views around camp! Each day we had a new ride which was better than the last; we saw soo much beauty and had such a wonderful time.Thanks timberline! I’ll be back!

5 Stars to Sid & Nicole who hosted me and two girlfriends for a 3 night 4 day backcountry camping and riding adventure. They were very kind, patient and personable. It was a pleasure to spend time getting to know them. I would do another overnight with these two if the opportunity presented itself.Highly recommend the overnight trip (and generally I do not enjoy camping)- tents and cots are set up, meals are planned prepared and cooked for you. I would recommend bringing a warm sleeping bag and layers as the weather is unpredictable.I was expecting basic breakfast and suppers (cold cereal, burgers and smokies)-they exceeded my expectations (French toast, bacon and eggs, steak, roasted chicken to name a few).The scenery was amazing!!! I believe our shortest riding time was around two hours, most days it was four or more. We were also able to hike around and explore the locations we rode to.Thank you for having us!!

On the spur of the moment, my husband and I wanted to go horse back riding. We looked everywhere and found 2 places near Lake Louise. One was closed for the year and Timberline was still open.They were so friendly and sweet. It was a fabulous trail ride with amazing horses. Mel was our guide and she was very sweet, patient and informative.The greatest part was her taking us down to the beach area. Where our son will always be apart of.Thank you Sue (owner and Mel guide) for an amazing experience. It was the best!!
