Professor James An is an absolute all around good guy and an amazing coach. I found out about professor James while watching his match in the Ace JiuJitsu Cup and I knew I had to meet him. I dropped in for the week and I was welcomed with open arms. His students speaks so highly of him and I can definitely see why. Professor James even answered some of my white belt questions and showed me a few good pointers. Keep in mind, I am just a random drop in, he could have easily brushed me off but he didn’t. Things like this matters in life.Excellent place to train, I really hope I can drop by again soon. I highly recommend it. High calibre talent, an amazing team and you got Professor James there to show you the way.

York Judo & BJJ has amazing coaching and instructions and is perfect for anybody wanting to start and/or continue their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo journey.The facility is clean and spacious with more than enough parking and just minutes away from the highway. I highly recommend York Judo & BJJ!

This is my favourite place to train and I have trained in quite a few academies! The coaches are friendly and attentive to both new and advanced students. I recommend York Judo and BJJ to all of my friends looking to train!

A great place to train. Very welcoming environment for beginners, everyone is happy to help and answer your questions. I walked in 8 months ago with no martial arts experience and will be competing in my first tournament soon with the support of the team and professors here. As a woman finding a supportive group at a bjj gym was huge. They have women only classes available but welcome everyone to all classes and support anyone who wants to train.

This gym checks every box if you are looking to learn Brazilian jui jitsu. Multiple black belt instructors each with their own focus/specialties. Class seven days a week with option for morning, afternoon, evening. Kids, teen, adult, women's classes. No contract. Friendly and welcoming. Skilled team mates to learn from. Be it fitness, hobby or competition your needs will be met. Probably best place for jui jitsu within 30 minute drive in any direction. But do your due diligence and try a few places and find the one that's right for you. Of the five I've tried there's no other I'd make my home base.

Super friendly instructors and students! This is a great place to learn BJJ and Judo.

I stopped in here for a lesson. The guys were welcoming and kind. They students have a strong takedown game from their Judo back ground. The guys in the club also had a pretty good newaza game which I'm sure will only get stronger with their new BJJ coach. When I was there all students were white belts in BJJ, so a great place to start to learn. Looking forward to one day coming back and rolling with them.
