My partner and I visited for an early dinner. We had lamb (they were out of goat) with jollof rice, plantains, and attiéké. The food was delicious and the hot sauce was a nice addition. I think they're more used to take out service because we ate out of divided take out containers, but we didn't mind. We waited a bit for the food, but suspect it was we came it right after opening.

It's be cheaper on online delivery platforms if you just pick it up than ordering from the store. The menu doesn't reflect the correct price so ask for the right price before ordering! Friendly service and the chicken was little too salty but still delicious overall.Would have given 5 stars if not for the misunderstanding on the price.Please print a new menu with the correct pricing, thanks!

Service was friendly and courteous, food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time, and the food itself was well portioned and delicious. Order was half chicken with jollof rice+plantains

I'm very disappointed with this restaurant. Every time I ordered via Doordarsh or uber eat there was something wrong with the quality. I had another displeasant episode today. Ordered 2 plates of fish with plantains, French fries and rice. I specifically asked for pepper sauce to be added on the side. To my not so great surprise, the fish came burnt, plantains burnt and cold as well. French fries were not freshly made and of course, no pepper sauce was added as requested. It's really hard and frustrating to support business from the community cause most offer mediocre quality food and service. Not only was the meal a total mess, the delivery took 2hours. How can you sell burnt meals to customers over and over again?

I ordered from this place twice since moving to Ottawa. The first time I ordered a whole chicken, plantain and ginger juice. Chicken was super dry, plantains were over cooked. I did enjoy the ginger juice though.Decided to give them a second chance. I ordered the beef combo and a tilapia combo. The beef was not even brochette it was just cut up in long strips not well seasoned but salty.The fish was super blend. The rice wasn’t well seasoned as well. Onions were very salty. It seems that there’s not much effort put in the food.Two chances and disappointed both times. Not happy at all.

Had a wonderful meal before a show at TD place. Free parking on local streets, nice dinner and walk to and from TD place.I also frequent the Aylmer location.Had 1/4 chicken, rice jollof, and salad. The salad is substantial, and the grilled chicken was as delicious as ever. Had a nice bissap juice as well.It was so nice to go out for a really filling, really delicious meal, instead of a big chain.My only issue is that it would have been nice to have a plate and real cutlery instead of plastic. That being said, I'll definitely head back again!

The meal I had tonight was absolutely delicious! The chicken was transcendent, it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The side of onions and hot sauce were a perfect accompaniment, and the jollof rice was a solid and wholesome side dish. Whether you live in Ottawa or are just visiting this is a restaurant that you must order from.
