Sandbanks Vacations

From the beginning of booking/requesting information, Kelsey was amazing to deal with! She was quick to respond to any questions and made the booking experience simple! Once our tour day arrived, Chris was an excellent tour guide! He was friendly, made us feel comfortable immediately, and had tons of knowledge of the local wineries, wines of the area, and the county, in general! My husband and I had an amazing day! Being picked up in the Sandbanks Vacations van made us feel like we were definitely on vacation -- the hype was real :) Thank you Sandbanks Vacations for having amazing prices, excellent service and an all-around great experience! Will do again for sure on our next trips!

Stayed at the Cobalt Cottage. Accommodations were easy to find, clean, and well set up for a weekend away. The wine tour was fantastic, we hit a couple of small wineries, which is always nice to be introduced to new wines and places. Larry was our driver for our wine tour and shuttle to and from dinner. He was amazing. Funny and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time and got the most out of our visit. I would definitely book with them again.

We had a small group of three friends who were celebrating December birthdays and we decided to treat ourselves to a tour - the county unveiled. The booking process was easy and the communication was as promised (mostly the company reminding me - gently - that I needed to provide them information still - much appreciated as I was busy and NOT on top of things). We were picked up on time by Larry, who was absolutely lovely to us and filled our 4 stops ( 1 winery, 1 beer brewery, 1 spirits distillery and 1 cider brewery) with many jokes and interesting snippets of information. We enjoyed all of our tastings which had lots of options (not to say everything was equally enjoyed by all of us - that's just personal preference though) and each of the locations. Going in December was lovely as the places weren't too busy and we had just the right amount of attention at each location. Tour was about 5 hours door to door and we had time to relax before heading out for dinner. Would definitely return (to try out some of his recommended restaurants etc) and tour with Larry again. He really helped to make our birthday weekend a success and we very much appreciated our day.

I have not visited Pickton in almost 45 years so it’s quite an enjoyment going back to the visit. We decided to go on the Saturday for the wine tour. Our tour operator was fantastic. Took us to a high-end winery first. Then the other three were just businesses that were starting out. I can tell you I have been to Niagara for their wine tours, but going to people that are just starting or have been going for a couple of years was more enjoyable than the Niagara tours I’ve been on. I highly recommend if you do want to do something you should just call Sandbanks Tours and let them take you for an enjoyable day.

We had the best time touring and doing tastings at 3 wineries. Joe was our driver, and he was the absolute best!! The car was very clean. Booking was very easy and clear communication the entire time. I would definitely use this company again!

We had an AMAZING experience with Sanbanks Vacations through our hotel: The Drake Devonshire. Every part of this was easy and done for us, which took a lot of the work off our hands.Dave was a truly wonderful guide; he added lots of information about the county, the wine and the difference wineries as we cruised along for the day. The van we had was so clean, and water was offered to us throughout the tour.We never felt rushed, and the price was really great for what we got. I would absolutely do this tour again!

The experience with sandbanks vacations was so easy. Prompt responses while booking took all of the stress away. The vineyards they brought us to were a great mix of small and large. Kim, our host was exceptionally fun. Highly recommend.

The Bachelorette Wine tour was a super fun activity and we loved getting to visit 4 wineries in the Prince Edward County area! Our driver Kim was really friendly and brought a lot of energy to the day. We really appreciated her sharing information about the wineries we weren't able to visit, taking group photos for us, and dancing with us to the music in the car :) Would definitely recommend.
