Coast Appliances - Edmonton North

Came in to Coast Appliances looking for a new fridge. There are quite a number of fridges on display. It was relatively busy so most sales people were busy so only 1 or 2 were available to answer any questions. One greeted us and asked if we had any questions, which was nice as we did have a few questions about a couple particular models. The pricing seemed fairly comparable to other stores, but other than that, there wasn't much else that would entice me to purchase from them.

Rebecca B greatly assisted us in our purchase of a topline Whirlpool washer and dryer. Communication was excellent. Questions were answered in a timely manner along with providing further information promptly. She also managed to get our washer delivered two months earlier than anticipated (despite a 5 month wait due to factory unavailability.)

I purchased a new range, the staff at this location (westend) are great. They are very knowledgeable and gave excellent customer service. The store had great brands to choose from.

Worst experience ever. We bought all appliances from Coast for our new house. At the time of delivery the delivery man dropped off appliances in the garage which were packed. After that they sent installer to install all appliances. Installer found a dent on washer and thus did not install the washer. Since then we are continuously contacting Coast but Coast has refused to take responsibility of washer.They receive payment, deliver damaged items and held customers responsible for damages.

Purchased a dishwasher and a washing machine from Coast. Both separate sales went very smooth and I appreciated that the salesmen was able to setup delivery/install/removal of the old dishwasher all in the same day. The delivery drivers were very polite and carefull when delivering. Will buy from this location again when I need to replace future appliances.

Excellent sales staff. My item shipped in a timely manner. Warehouse staff very friendly and helped me load my item.

Paid for the W3 Solutions warranty when I bought my new appliances here and now that I need repairs they have no one that can work on Samsung appliances. Constantly getting told to call back in 3 days just to get told to call back in 3 daysUpdate: Costal Appliances helped get this matter resolved A+ help from Rob and his team.

I bought a dishwasher from them and asked for delivery and install. They delivered the dishwasher and couldn't get it to work properly. They didn't seem to care too much that they sent me a broken appliance and do not return calls. I've been trying to push them too send a technician to get it fixed and they just give excuses. Terrible customer service. I do not recommend this place for appliances.

Actually i wanna give them 0 Star. Worst experience ever. We bought all appliances from Coast for our new house.I ordered my stuff one year forehead, but still I didn’t got my delivery on time. When i moved in my new house i waited 1 month for my washer dryer and for my fridge. Nobody informed me when i will got my stuff and how long i have to wait. When i call them to ask nobody knows anything. On the day of delivery the just told me that we was there and nobody open the door, but at the time my mom and husband was home and was waiting for delivery. After that i call them again to do the delivery they said wait other 2 weeks for the delivery. They dealer Dean from cost appliances who was dealing with us stop to communicate with us ( no more information form anyone). After that i call the manger in Calgary he helped us after 2-3 calls for the delivery. On the other delivery day they made again issues and cancel the delivery. Last call to manager helped me that i got my stuff. To much headache, physically mentally stress. Did the laundry in the laundromat, paid everything from my pocket. No refund nothing for waiting for so long. I will never reference my family, frnds, to go to cost appliances. Staff unfriendly, not helpful..

I have bought multiple appliances from coast appliances. The people who work for Coast are exceptional. The products are usually pretty good. That being said , BEWARE OF THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. If you need to use the extended warranty it’s a nightmare . They use Transglobal service for the extended warranty. Transglobal is terrible to deal with . I do not recommend buying the extended warranty from Coast appliances.
