JL Endodontics

Just finished getting my second root canal from JL Endodontics. I am very nervous and have high anxiety about even going to the regular dentist, Dr. Lo is welcoming and good at explaining everything that is going to happen as well as keeping you informed a long the way, both times his assistants were always asking if I was doing okay, and giving words of encouragement. I don’t know what the cost is at other places for root canals, but Dr.Lo has the best equipment, and yes I go over my yearly benefit as others have mentioned in reviews but if you understand the importance of your teeth it’s worth the investment. Hopefully I won’t have any further need for root canals in the future, but if I do I know I’ll be going back to see Dr Lo

I had a great experience. Everything turn out to be better than I was prepared. Next day, I didn’t feel any pain so no need for antibiotics. I’ve already refer my friend.

I am so impressed with Dr. Lo and his entire team! He was knowledgeable and personable and took the time to explain the situation of my tooth. His assistant Michelle was very gentle, compassionate, and attentive throughout the procedure as well. The other assistant Jenny was also super amazing even though our encounter was brief; I can tell everyone at the office are highly trained and professional . I am so impressed with this office. My experience here was a pleasant one & I highly recommend Dr. Lo and his amazing staff!

Dr Lo and staff are truly amazing. I was petrified of having a root canal and I could not be more impressed with the outcome. I work in health care myself which does nothing except increase my anxiety level regarding anything invasive. Dr. Lo is cool, calm and collected. He was able to accommodate my busy schedule and his no-bs communication gave me the assurance that he knew what he was doing. There was absolutely zero pain throughout the procedure. The freezing was by far the best experience I have ever had with local anesthetic. He has a pretty innovative machine (gentle-wave??) that essentially pressure washes the inside of the tooth. Zero pain or discomfort throughout the procedure. His assistant Sheila was top-notch. Very caring and I could tell by the way instruments were passed back and forth that she knew exactly what she was doing. Absolutely no fumbling around, just precise,planned and smooth movements. Thank-you Dr.Lo and staff, you have taken me out of terrible, relentless pain.

The reception will not tell you how much it will be covered by your insurance when it is not going to be covered. This was second time i got root canal treatment done here. Last time i was given information on how much they will cover but this time when i asked the reception told me they it depends on insurance. Last time also i had the same insurance. Today i am checking online and it says 1 treatment in 24 months. I could have waited until Nov2023 if i was told that insurance is not covering this treatment as it exceeds the frequency limits.. clearly dishonest practices.. Not happy at all. I am down $2100 now.. My bad i should have checked it my self and should not have trusted them.Edit: so, A client is expected to have knowledge of codes used for billing when they discuss coverage for xyz treatment with their insurance. And so if clients screw up any codes it will be their fault.. When an average billing is $2000 , a client will expect that the administration staff deals with preaprovals and find out how much will be covered and if it will be covered or not.. Its easy to say that you find out from your insurance company when you recipient of money, but be on patient side who is paying for treatment and feel the difference.

The entire experience was quite good. Upon my calling, a cancellation allowed prompt service. More importantly, Dr Lo was able to assess the situation and offer solutions/options in a clear and succinct manner. Further questions were answered without hesitation. Front desk staff also answered any questions with accuracy and patience.A professional experience.

Dr. Lo and team exceeded my expectations. He came highly recommended by a friend of mine, and I am so glad Dr Lo was my endodontist. Dr. Lo is professional, respectful, and very thorough. I had a challenging situation, with two prior failed root canals on the same tooth. I was told I would likely need to get my tooth extracted and get an implant, but Dr. Lo was able to save my tooth. He was very honest and explained everything to me in detail. He made the procedure essentially pain free. He and his assistant were very calming and reassuring throughout the procedure. If you are looking for an expert endodontist with superb chair side manner, and an amazing team, JL Endodontics is for you. He literally did the impossible for me, and I am forever grateful.

I am normally not a 'review' type person, but my very good experience with Dr. Lo prompted me to make a few comments. I recently had root canal work, something I was certainly NOT looking forward to, simply due to hearing the term since childhood and the worrisome thoughts conjured up. But, I have to say, that from the time of my 1st consult with Dr. Lo, along with his assistant, I felt entirely different about my upcoming procedure. It is VERY evident Dr. Lo is both very professional, but his experience is apparent and that gave great comfort throughout the procedure. His temperament along with his assistant's as well, helped the time in chair pass with to be honest, quite a degree of comfort. All went great, and surprisingly was not much more than getting a couple of fillings. If asked by a family member, I would recommend Dr. Lo in a heartbeat. A sincere thank you to him & the entire staff.
