Radish Chicken

Radish Chicken is in its soft opening phase, but already quite busy with takeout orders and foot traffic.5/5 for affordability, it’s very rare to find in the north end these days (RIP Robie Food) and you can get a combo with a pop for under $10, which is basically unheard of! You can even buy a single drumstick for $1.99 , which makes this place a lot more accessible than pretty much anywhere else nearby. Family options won’t break the bank.We ordered the chicken cutlets and I have to say they are MASSIVE tenderized chicken breasts. Very tender/juicy inside and crispy outside, with a panko type crust that held its crispiness throughout. It’s not a heavy batter, which is nice. But it is very greasy, which is to be expected for fried chicken :)Flavour wise it has an aromatic, peppery kick, but it’s not spicy. It came with a typical sweet and sour sauce which was fine, but I’d love to see some hot pepper options in the future.I don’t think I’ll order the cutlet again as it’s not my favourite cut, but I’m looking forward to trying their drumsticks, wings and thighs.My only complaint is the fries, while tasty, were a little on the dry side today. They’re made from frozen, but they’re crispy and nicely seasoned. Huge portions!Certainly worth a visit when you’re in the mood for fast food, and I think once they settle in, catch their bearings and extend their hours they’ll be quite a solid late-night addition to the neighbourhood.

I’m hesitant to leave even a 3 star review because the girl at the counter was so lovely, but I wasn’t able to eat the chicken due to the level of spice! There is NOTHING to indicate that this is SPICY fried chicken. I was looking for fried chicken - and even after receiving my order I again looked at the website and the menu, there is NO indication of spice. I was so disappointed, I’ll admit that I am not able to handle spice at all, so I may have a “baby” level when handling spicy food, but I was so disappointed after spending over $20 and not being able to eat a single bite. I even tried to remove the crispy coating from the drumsticks and just eat the chicken but it was so overly spicy. I found this fried chicken to be spicier than the mild hot wings I order from my favourite restaurant.Unfortunately I won’t be able to order from them again, but if you like spicy food you’ll probably love this! For the owners: PLEASE mention on your website or your menu, ANYWHERE - that this fried chicken is SPICY!!

Delicious food! Definitely try the fries, the herb and garlic seasoning is amazing!Atmosphere was really cosy and the service was fast and friendly.

I don’t usually go out of my way to make a review but this restaurant is worth it, I ordered spicy chicken burger and fries. The fries were more then perfect the special sauce on the burger was good. For sure going to revisit.

Absolutely incredible fried chicken and fries! The chicken was very crispy and as someone who’s a typically hesitant on hot spices, I found it incredibly well seasoned. For those who like it spicier they offered a variety of sauces with the meal that provided it a great kick of heat.The staff were friendly, and the service was quick; the order was ready for pick up 20 minutes after we ordered around prime dinner rush time.The best wings and fries we’ve had in a long time and highly recommend giving this place a try as you’ll definitely come back!

This new place is very affordable for high quality/quantity fried chicken! I've had their wings, drum sticks, and cutlets and have never been disappointed.They're an Asian fusion place, so for sauces they have this sweet Chilli Thai or spicey sauce (I personally always go for the sweet Chilli Thai but their spicey sauce is homemade and it's apparently really good too). Whatever they put on their French fries is also sooo savory!

The chicken is good but there should be a choice of mild or spicy. The fries are tasty but a litte too much salt. Overall good food and good service.

Some of the best chicken wings/legs I've had. A must try!

The skin is crispy and the chicken is very juicy! Delicious, inexpensive and large portions.
