Given this place way to many chances, this time was definitely the last. We came in today around 1pm and waited at least 5 minutes anyone to acknowledge us (which seems to be the norm here). After sitting down waited another 10 min for someone to bring us water and menus. Ordered our food and drinks right away and waited….. and waited…… and waited. While we waited we watched the manager and multiple servers look at and walk by a table that a family had left a complete mess that sat there for almost 30 minutes and no one cleaning it. At one point almost every table in our section was as dirty and Ignored while the staff took their sweet time to moving around and not caring. After 40 minutes of waiting the manager apologized and asked if he could comp our drinks. We waited for an hour and still no food, but when a table that sat down at least 20 minutes after us got their food, that’s we had enough and just walked out hangry. This place is so poorly managed and such a disappointment. Every time we come in there has been something wrong ie, hair in my food, Saran Wrap baked into my meal, flies in my wine and poor customer service. I am normally one to do some sandwich feed back in these situations, but I have nothing except that our server ( don’t remember her name) was polite and friendly. There was a large party in the back which was apparently the reason for the long wait, but based on the lack of hustle from staff an ignorant manager this was clearly the reason.

We had a family gathering for their weekend breakfast deal - it's a bargain at $4.99 and is surprisingly good for the money. It was enough breakfast for me but if you're super hungry, heck order two and you'll have more than enough for $10!The only glitch was, the place was busy. The service itself was very good but there was a couple good size groups and the kitchen was getting backed up. Our food took close to an hour to come but before we even had a chance to complain the manager came over to explain the issue and apologized. They covered our drinks as well as giving us discount coupons on for future meals.Every restaurant has it's moments when it's difficult to keep up. The nice thing with Livelyhood is they acknowledged it, didn't make excuses and they made a sincere effort to make up for it. And when the food got there, it was very good.We'll definitely be back.

I was super excited at first when I saw the decor and the food menu. Reason for two stars is because of the terrible service. Place opens at 11:30am and my group came in at 12. The place was also dead, yet the service was slow and the server kept forgetting about our orders. We also caught her texting on her phone behind the bar..?! Unfortunately service really does take away from the experience. I really wish they tried a bit harder :( Although I recommend the crab cake benny! It was delicious! I also liked the $3 mimosas and the $4 Caesar’s

Service was ever so friendly. Great customer service. Restaurant was open spaced, clean, fresh, inviting with a great vibe and concept. I had the Love Thy Neighbour breakfast and the Pork Gyoza. My easy over eggs were congealed, the sausage was dry and the sour dough bread was on the skimpy side. The hash browns and coffee was fine. The Pork Gyoza was burnt but tasted great. I'll chalk today's experience as the cooks day off and will try it again at another time. Their Instagram page is great and it has lots of potential and could do great. Parking was fine and they have a very cute private room, picture taking entrance and awesome patio.

Visited Livelyhood on a Saturday early evening. It was very busy but we got a spot for 2. Very nice interior, design and layout. Clean, bright, stylish and overall friendly vibe. Servers were great - very welcoming and attentive. Food was kind of average and portions weren’t big for the price, but still good and a nice spot that I’d go back to.

Environment: Great atmosphere for a date or a night out. Dim lighting with candle on table. Neon signs are super aesthetic.Price: Very cheap. $3 per some shots (ie Vodka, Bette Davis). Food is average in price. (Nachos was $18).Taste: Pretty good, nachos are always good.Customer Service: Small talk as usual. Down to help, friendly in general.

This place is literally one of the highlights of my trip to Canadá. Me and my partner visited from Oregon and we loved it! AMAZING food, GREAT service and YUMMY cocktails.

My kids took me there for Mother’s Day. I must it was a very clean (none of that musty smell), beautifully decorated, “lively” restaurant that I will return again & again. Service was impeccable, food and menu is excellent, and lots of parking. On top of that, they gave me a 10% off coupon for my next visit for Mother’s Day! Nice touch and I didn’t expect. To the management: You have a great team in there so don’t change a thing.
