Riptide Marine Pub
Prime rib dino bones, supposed to be fall off the bone. Were overcooked, no redness, had to saw through them with steak knife. Comes with small portion of fries (or other side) for 28$, throw a few leftover rib bones on your fire for 20 hours with no cover for same results. BBQ sauce was amazing and bark on ribs was good. Could have been a huge hit.

A little bit overpriced and pretentious for what you get in my opinion. Didn't appeal to me as a lively pub or as an elegant dining experience. I suppose the view of the water would be nice to have while eating but we couldn't get one. Tables were way too small and furniture in general was quite cheap.

Phoenix is the best waitress I've ever had!! Thank you for making our special evening out perfect.!! Its so cosy here and such amazing food. I really enjoyed the sockeye crusted, ginger dressing salad, and other favourite is seafood linguine, and the tortellini.!! Mai Tai and margarita bulldogs are awesome here too :))

Atmosphere was nice. Buzzing with people on a weekday night. The prawn appetizer we got was underwhelming considering it had a fancy Japanese name to it. The nachos were just so so too. Didn't get to take photos or the food, just the pint of beer lol will consider going back next time to order mains instead of appetizers/shared dishes and will review again then.

Our favorite place to eat in Campbell River. Food is always delicious. Staff is very friendly. We have never been disappointed. My personal favorite is their seafood linguine.

We dropped by here for dinner tonight and it was a decent experience. They pour a good pint of Guinness, and the calamari is really good. The fish tacos are flavourless, and not good. The chicken blt wrap is meh. My friend also have the black and blue burger, which is huge but only okay. Very messy to eat. Good place to grab a drink and some appies but wouldn’t return for mains.

Been here twice in 2 years. Both times absolutely amazing food and service. 1st time i had the seafood linguini which is to absolutely die for. 2nd time i had the canadian pizza 1/2 order and it was amazing to. Local craft beers and lagers on tap. Staff is very friendly and positive. Kim was my server both times and she was great. As for the scenery; I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. A place to chill, enjoy ocean views, relax and forget about things for awhile. A gem and a must visit spot to eat in Campbell River when you go. Thank you Riptide! I'll always be back!
