I would not recommend this restaurant as the service is horrible, and the owners are very unprofessional. If you plan on doing an event there, I would not recommend it, as the reviews about them scamming people are accurate. The owner Roy Imad will change things on you last minute and try to charge you for things you never agreed on.

Do NOT recommend having an event here!!On January 18, 2023, I went to Lordia with my friend to talk to Roy Imad and his wife Sandy about having my bridal shower there on May 7 for 1pm. We agreed on multiple things and then I sent an e-transfer deposit of $500. A month later, he calls me changing everything that we initially agreed on, said if I’m not happy I could cancel and get my money back. I told him to give me back my money and he kept giving me excuses that he would send it in the next couple of days. He then texts me saying that he has the right to not give me back my deposit because I was the one who canceled. I canceled because he changed everything that we agreed on a month later. He is very unprofessional especially what happened with the old owner and now the new owner is doing the same.

I recently had my engagement party at Lordia and it was absolutely incredible to say the least. From the customer service, to the food, to the decorations and interior of the venue I absolutely LOVED it all and so did my guests. The owner was soo kind and helpful, he made my planning journey a walk in the park. He was extremely accommodating and it was clear he just wanted me to be at ease and happy. The food was a 10/10, we got Lebanese food for 100 people. Appetizers, mezza, drinks and more. I got to the venue and didn’t have to worry about a thing since the owner took care of it all, everything was already set up to my liking. With Lordia you don’t just get the venue, you get all the extra perks that you would have to do yourself at another venue. I will recommend this place to everyone for any event.

We recently had an event at Lordia and it was amazing! Everything turned out just the way we wanted if not better. Roy was extremely helpful and thoughtful and was very accommodating. He went out of his way many times by opening the restaurant on his days off to make sure we had the right idea for planning the decorations. Him and his team were incredible. The food was DELICIOUS!! Already planning my next event there.

I was there Saturday 1st October 2022... There was a baby shower which was packing up, otherwise the only folk in there were myself and four friends.The lady who seated us was delightful. There was a man who brought out our wine was midway through opening a bottle when he took a phone call on his cell and proceeded to just talk his way through serving us... like, completely ignore the table he was mid-way through serving, and just chat with someone else.Mid-meal a DJ came to set up. We enjoyed the loud sound-system testing while we got our main meal.The food was excellent. Like... really very good. Which was a good thing because for five people, two bottles of wine and a set menu, we were out $480!! We enjoyed the food... but will not likely come back with prices like that.

Absolutely the best restaurant in ottawa !The owner is very respectful and super friendly , the food is clean and delicious, authentic Lebanese cuisine.Not to mention the insane parties they throw weekly , great environment I highly recommend this place even for your events.Outstanding experience! Thankyou lordia

I had a surprise birthday party and everything was very good. A big Thank you to the staff, the chef, and to Roy. The picture on the watermelon was amazing and the show for the grilled fish. Again Thank you so much.
