While the pizza is definitely the star of the show at The Lock Wood Fired Pizza, the calzone could use a bit of improvement. Our experience was that the calzone was dry and lacked the necessary amount of sauce to really bring out the flavors. This might be a disappointment for calzone lovers who are used to a saucy, cheesy filling.The Cheesy Garlic Strips are also quite good. They are essentially another pizza cut into strips, and are more than enough for a group of 4.Overall, The Lock Wood Fired Pizza is a great option for pizza lovers looking for a crispy crust and quality toppings. If you're a fan of calzones, you might want to try something else on the menu, or perhaps request extra sauce on your calzone to ensure a better experience

The Lock Wood Fired Pizza
One bite- everyone knows the rules!Ordered the Roman pepperoni and the hot and honey.Both pizzas were AMAZING!The flavour profile was impeccable. Good undercarriage, the crust was crispy. The cheese was gooey. You can taste every single ingredient as they were, but still a cohesive taste.I would for sure order from this place again.

This review will probably change to a five-star once I dine in. Drove an hour and 40 minutes to get to this place very friendly staff / maybe owners the pizza was good and the Roman style pizza was also very good. You want to try something different I definitely recommend the Roman Style. But they were both very good pizzas

This is THE BEST pizza place ever! It’s the closest to Italy as it comes to. We love everything here from the homely vibe to good food. If our family wants pizza, this is the place we come to time and time again, whether it be takeout to enjoy at home or eat in! Either way, it’s incredible.

Great wood fired pizza! Wonderful people working there and so happy we got to experience this place! Port Colborne is a little storybook town and you can watch big boats go through the locks and what better way to do that than with this pizza!! We got the breakfast and hot honey Calabrese pizzas... SOOO good!!! Real ingredients, nothing fake, real pizza dough too! Nothing greasy or sloppy, beautiful presentation and taste!! Next time we're out there we're going here!!!

Honestly, this is just great pizza. I always judge a place by their pepperoni pizza and this place really hits the mark.This is your classic Woodfire, thin crust, pizza with the bubbles, and the char and the doughiness on the undercarriage
