I remember such fond memories of eating general chicken from this spot with my roommates. The service was quick and this shop has served McMaster Community well for years. Going to go there whenever I am in hamilton again to visit Mac campus.

First time trying this place. Ordered here because they have good reviews. The food was definitely NOT the best Chinese food in Hamilton. Far from it. The chicken balls were so greasy I got a sore stomach. The rice was ok, the chicken in the rice had fatty grizzle in it. Definitely sub par.

I use to be a regular here when i was a student years ago, now i try to grab a meal whenever i pass by the area, their food is so good, authentic and homey and the lovely lady still recognizes me. I recommend the eggplant with minced pork on rice and the fujian fried rice. Havent found another place that makes those dishes better! You can also ask to customize the spicyness and not to put any msg as well.

Very cheap and very quick service. The food is really good for the price. The staff seem quite formal and direct(?) But NOT rude or unfriendly. Overall a good option for cheap takeout. Highly recommend.

Always fast and fresh food prepared when you order. Friendly service at the counter and it's all reasonably priced. Much cheaper to order directly than to go through a middle-man deliver service

South China Chinese Food is a fantastic take out restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves Chinese cuisine. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, but their pork chop and onion on rice and egg fu yung on rice are two of my absolute favorites.

I was a regular guests back in 2003 to 2007 while attending school, it is so great to know this restaurant is still doing very well and staying strong! When I back to school, love to visit again!

I was feeling homesick for Toronto and this shop reminded me of a little Chinese shack I loved to go to in Toronto. The food is delicious and portions are large! This is my favourite place near McMaster for sure.
