Branthaven

I have purchased a 3 storey townhome in Grimsby 6 years ago. I had a leak on third floor already and I had to call insurance but it was builders fault as they haven't done window properly. I have a balcony that is built over the garage and yes I have a leak in the garage too. Also the bricks on the outside under the entrance stairs are falling out too. I tried calling Brantheaven to resolve the issue but they don't cover any of that cause it is not structural. Really nice units but poorly done. I would never ever buy anything that says Brantheaven on it.

We lived in a peaceful community until this company moved in and destroyed hundreds of football fields worth of trees and displaced thousands of animals. For the past 2 years they've done nothing but work outside the bylaw times, starting as early as 5:30am, and going until 9pm, 7 days a week. We had to fight with them to bring in water trucks in order to manage the dirt they kicked up everyday, costing us a small fortune as we had to hose our entire house down daily. They don't care about the neighborhoods they disrupt.

The positive reviews on here must be from the family members or employees because we have never seen such shoddy work in a home. The finishes are sub par for a professional builder and customer service is a joke. They come up with any and every excuse imaginable to avoid repairing or refinishing work they have done. We found out they don't even build their own properties with their own employees they subcontract their builds out to other builders. Be aware and stay away from this builder there are plenty of others that do quality work that you can chose from.

We purchased with Branthaven because they have a wonderful reputation and they surely lived up to it. The sales process was easy, it was a relief to find out most of other builders upgrades were Brantahven standards - this allowed us to use our money on extras that really made the home unique. Our design consultant Trista was so knowledgeable and patient. Our home was delayed but that was an expectation we already had having previously bought from another Ontario builder. Once we received our home we were blown away by the quality of finishes. Anything that was noted on our inspection reports was done quickly and the warranty team was always helpful when we had questions. Branthavens Customer Care Department is top notch - no matter how many annoying phone calls I made. We will love our Branthaven Home forever.

Poor communication, if any. The house we had built was not completed properly. Upon closing there were immense issues, and it was evident that they rushed (after being delayed 3 years). Head office does not communicate with you unless imperative or unless you leave them inquiries. Horrible experience and to anyone considering Branthaven as a future builder, strongly recommend you shop around and select someone else.

This is the most irresponsible company I’ve ever seen in Canada. Their construction site never cares anything about environment, neighbourhoods, safety and bylaws. Running a noisy diesel generator overnight 24x7, waking the entire street up at midnight. Nice job profit seekers!!!

Bad company, does not ensure everything is built according to quality and satisfaction to customer. They do not involve good HVAC contractors to do good job.

I am a home inspector and was in the new home industry for many years. I have completed many PDIs for builders and and homeowners. This was a PDI I did for a homeowner with the builder rep, Arthur.I must say I was blown away by the fit and finish and attention to detail to virtually every aspect of this home. The design was also well thought out with switches conveniently placed where one would not expect them and all the exterior and fridge water lines cleverly placed in one location in the basement... brilliant !It is really nice to see that Branthaven and their trades take great pride in their work and application of materials... congratulations.

So so disgusted with this company! They were required under a draft plan to wait until the fall to remove any vegetation they deemed necessary to start their construction of a new subdivision. Instead they annihilated every single tree on the land where many birds, squirrels, rabbits and other wildlife were nesting and had babies. Just brought in the bulldozers and destroyed every single living thing. It's now a barren wasteland. It's literally a real life version of Avatar. Shame on you Branthaven, shame on you!

Branthaven is an amazing home builder. From the sales center and moving on to the design center, the entire process was smooth and seamless. When I took possession of my new home, you can see the difference with Branthaven. Their build is of luxury quality. With any home, there are going to be issues. Branthaven resolved all of the minor issues quickly and efficiently. Their customer service and trades men and women are wonderful to deal with as well. Thank you Branthaven!
