Visited Lakshana's Chettinad South Indian restaurant on Sunday afternoon for lunch. Food tasted good. We had ordered Thali, it tasted good. Everything tasted more like North Indian. Food tasted good though. Service is good . Staff is courteous. Restrooms are well maintained. Pricing is good. Overall I recommend a visit.

If you have ever ordered Dosa home, you neeeeeed to try at the restaurant.It is good at home, but here is even better! (Of course, it is fresh!)Best Indian restaurant we know in Montreal, after trying some options!

Lakshana's Chettinad South Indian Restaurant
The waitress was super kind and helpful! She answered to all my requests. I ordered take out food in a hurry and she quickly helped me with the menu and served me in less than 10 minutes. She kindly served me water for my short wait. The place is gorgeous; a nice combination of modern and traditionnal elements. Even though I didn't stay to eat and the place wasn't busy, I had a really good feeling about this place.I would definitely consider eating there in the near future.

I had a bad experience with this place today. I walked in with 2 of my friends and people were dining as we entered and we waited to be seated and when no one was attending the front desk we got ourselves a table and that’s when a young bloke came up to us told us that they are closed and that they are on a break (there’s isn’t a break time mentioned anywhere) . There was not a hit of being courteous or being customer friendly. He came off very rude . We left the place instantly without a thought.

Their lemonade is awesome- not on their menu- but can’t say enough about it-not too sweet but perfect thirst quencher! We got the chicken 65, masala dosas-chili egg and lamb, chicken curry! Although the prices are a bit expensive, food is hands down authentic Indian taste!

Worst experience ever, I had a butter chicken and One garlic naan and one plain naan. The chicken was like swimming in the water, no gravy at all. And naan really disappointed me, they are actually selling ready made bread which you can from any store.

I was very impressed by this restaurantVery flavorfull and fresh. The chicken 65 was absolutely delicious. The dosa was a great discovery, you get to taste it with different sauce, for a small price. Great service!

Had a decent experience, Butter Naan with chicken curry was good. Chicken 65 Biryani was ok ok, pieces were deep fried which changed the flavour entirely. Kind of felt like fish, Mutton biryani was good.

Just ordered delivery and wow is this ever good. We got the lamb and chicken biryani dishes. Right amount of spiciness and meat for both dishes. Also very tender and flavourful. Will order again! Lastly, portions are great.
