ERIK'S - Bike Board Ski

Not happy about assembly fee, was not charged this last bike I purchased. No indication on website that an assembly charge was going to be included in the price. A bike that I wanted was at the Eden Prairie store but couldn't get it at the St.Louis Park store without a 200 dollar shipping fee! This is not good customer service.

Service went way out of their way to fix and the reorder a broken bike computer, then at checkout I received perfect advise on the right bike rack to buy, including assist installing it! Incredibly great service.

New to the area I went to the SLP Erik's. Previously I visited the Uptown Erik's regularly, and had no complaints. Unfortunately this week made me sour on the local Erik's.I came in mid day on Wednesday with a tire that wasn't fitting on my rim. Typically this is a simple procedure that I can do myself, but 30 minutes of frustration and failure made me take it in to Erik's. At drop off, I was told 1-2 days, no big deal, I would have the bike by the 4th of July weekend and be able to enjoy the rare days we have good air quality due to the wild fires.Saturday morning, service is not done. I understand being busy, with larger requests, like a bike tune, I would expect up to a week of delays during busy season. But 3 days into a 2 day estimate on a simple procedure was too much. I withdrew my service request, took the wheel to Farmstead bikes in South Minneapolis, 5 minutes later, the admittedly difficult bead was set and the wheel was good to go.If I knew Ip front that this procedure would sit on the shelf until the weekend, I could have planned appropriately. I'm sure the service would have been fine, but at the moment, I can't recommend their shop for quick turnarounds during busy season. At the very least, I'd appreciate better communication so that I can have reasonable expectations moving forward.

We have an electric bike that they sell and the chain fell of & got jammed in the gear. Every issue with the bike we’ve ever had is a complete nightmare dealing with! They said it would be ready on Friday and then they don’t. Then they call and say they don’t have the chain and we need to use 2 chains to make to work, I say ok! Then we call on on day and they say it’s the 1st bike to be worked on today so then the call on closing time on Monday saying it’s ready for pick up but they failed to tell me that they’re closed on Tuesday! They Should have said feel free to pick it up anytime after Wednesday seeing we are closed on Tuesday, would be the proper response! I mean what businesses ever closed on a Tuesday This company is oblivious, and I never wanna use them again.! it’s actually worse than going to the dentist!They open at 11 o’clock Jesus Christ half of the day is over by then!Absolutely horrible service department and even worse Customer Service we’re looking for a new spot to take care of our bikes

Helpful and personal sales person. Bought helmet, pump, and shorts…his input insured I was getting the best options for me. Later in the day I rode 32 miles and am looking forward to another ride today. Love Erik’s.

Super helpful staff. Found out my daughters tire was flat and needed a fast fix due to a camp she is in this week. Took the bike over close to closing time and they were able to repair so quickly. Was truly grateful for their help. Always a great experience at the SLP Erik’s location.

The St.Louis Park, MN store staff are amazing. Ally B. helped me select the right sized bike, explained all the various options and made it an extra ordinary experience for me. I also dealt with the manager on a separate day, unfortunately don’t know his name, he was absolutely amazing. He even helped fill air of my son’s bike and install the bell for his bike. If there was an option for giving 10 stars out of 5, I would do that. I am getting into biking after years of not biking, so the extra care and attention given by Ally B and the manager was very much appreciated. Thank you for making my experience AMAZING!!

Nice enough joint. Good workers, but misinformed. Unfortunately they were very inaccurate in their interpretation of the new MN E-Bike rebate. They told me at that time that the rebate is up to the consumer to get their rebate and the bike shop has nothing to do with it. Afterwards and some research, I found out that the rebate will give a certificate to the consumer and within 30 days the consumer will have to provide said certificate to the 'approved' or 'certified' bike shop at time of purchase and the discount-rebate will be applied at purchase. Not a big deal....but don't spread misinformation.

Amazing service. I know you have a backlog but the tech guy was able to get my bike ready to ride within two hours. I’m very appreciative
