The Hudson Hair Salon & Spa

I had my appointment today at Hudson Hair Salon with Kristi and it was a wonderful experience! I hadn’t been to have a hair cut in almost 5 years. My hair had gotten very long and boring. Kristi was amazing and helped give life back to my hair :) I will 100% be returning. Thank you again!!

As a new client and someone driving from +100km distance, I’d researched this salon reasonably well and planned my trip around a 12:30 appt. Unfortunately, the stylist cancelled due to illness. Of course, this happens.What I find remarkable is that this salon has the nerve to charge full service price should the client cancel on the day of appt, but yet no accommodation whatsoever is made when they cancel 90 minutes before the appt. No one was able to find any wiggle room to accommodate me on a commute that was already underway. And to be quite honest, they didn’t seem to care. Guess they have all the business that is needed, though the reputation suffers as a result. Very, very disappointing.I will NOT book their service again.

Getting your hair done at the Hudson is an amazing experience from start to finish. I’ve had Kirsten and Tasha do my hair and have loved it every time. It’s a beautiful salon, modern, and bright. I feel completely pampered, the hair washing stations are so comfortable, the products they use are top of the line. I can’t imagine getting My hair done anywhere else.

Kristie has cut and styled my hair twice now and I love it! She did exactly what I wanted and has great suggestions. As an added bonus, she is fun to chat with. The whole salon is welcoming and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Will be returning many times.

Today was such a special day. I took my two children in to get their ears pierced together. Ages 13 and 3. My daughter and son are so close he wanted to share the moment with her and show her how to be brave. Tammy from the Hudson was absolutely amazing, she made it fun and special for each of them. She made them feel like family! Not a tear was shed and after all of the staff stopped my daughter to let her show off her new studs and tell them how brave she was. She even got a certificate of bravery! IT WAS MAGIC! The these are the moments you live for as a mom. Thank Tammy and all the staff at the Hudson for helping us make such a special memory today forever grateful.

I had to seek a new stylist after many years due to my husband and I relocating to Huntsville and I was a bit nervous. I noticed Tasha’s work right away and booked in with her. She was so kind right from the start of the appointment to the end. Listened to all my concerns and what I was looking for while adding in her professional opinions, visions and ideas she had for me. I completely trusted her and she took so much time creating and painting my hair. It exceeded my expectations and I am just so so happy with the end result. It’s basically the colour and blend I’ve been looking for but didn’t think it was achievable with my hair! Thank you again Tasha … you can tell you’re passionate about what you do. Absolutely great service from Tasha and the staff at The Hudson! Always a relaxing experience with friendly, professional service. Their washing chair was the comfiest- no neck pain! They are amazing with blondes- took my brassy well water hair to a beautiful creamy blonde! My hair not only looks great but feels great too. Highly recommend.

Recently had another great short haircut from Kristi, so nicely shaped and easy for me to style too. Been going to her for 4 or 5 years, and I love both the quality of her cuts and that she has helped me try different styles that always turn out well. Thanks Kristi and the Hudson!
