Ghana Consulate in Toronto

We arrived an 1hr before our appointment, the customer service was great. My son gave the gentlemen a tough time to take his picture but he remained patient throughout. Overall it was a great experience.

It's bn 10 weeks and I still haven't gotten my passport. When u call no answer. When you email they keep saying it's processing.

There is a man that worked a shift November 10 2022 between the hours of 1030am to 3pm when we were dealing with an issue of lost documents. He was very disrespectful, dismissive and even started insulting. Caught him on multiple occasions lying trying to shirk off responsibility because unknown to him all parties involved in the issue were on the same page as far as who was to blame on the missing documents. Just as we predicted this man later on found the documents and instead of apologizing said he was mad because we told him he does not know how to do his job" so he can care less what happens to the found document. This is grossly unacceptable and such an employee should be FIRED immediately. He was the only person that worked this shift because he was the only one that answered calls for the 3 hours we kept calling in. This is clearly not his first rodeo as he was very comfortable with being abusive and disrespectful over the phone. How can such an unprofessional person be working at a consulate???????? He barely answers the phone and when he does without any warning will sometimes put you on hold for about 10 plus minutes for no reason other than to frustrate you off the phone."

I just want to thank the Ghana consulate in Marham. Overall good services. At a point I felt I was in Ghana. Mr. Ewusi Isaac you know how to deal with your own. Weldone sir.

The system is working. Swift service and very professional staff. I got my passport 2 weeks after attending my biometric appointment. I wish the consulate was closer to downtown Toronto though. Overall, good experience.

They won’t pick up the phone at all , and apparently even the voice mail box is full, no way of communicating prior to arriving, so if you miss out any documents and you arrive there you would have no other option than to return home and come again (easily avoidable stress if only the phone was answered) absolutely shambolic, And the bloody receptionist with the tattoos is very rude… look, she locked me outside the 2nd day after I questioned why they don’t pick up phone calls on the 1st day.. as if the consulate is her private home,,. She kept bringing my paperwork to the doorway and nagging the whole time.. and giving out bad energy throughout …God . I was totally shocked .

I always enjoy the service here . The new location is much bigger , very clean and welcoming . Today I was served by two fine gentlemen Mr. Kojo and Mr. Patrick who are very professional, supportive and pleasant.

I went to the Ghana Consulate (not the embassy!) For the first time today. I arrived a little earlier than my appointment, but as soon as they were done with a customer they saw me straight after. I wish the process was a little easier, but it's not the staff's fault, I guess it's the system as the saying goes! I was done in about 30 mins and the staff was pleasant, laughed and joked with me, and went above and beyond my expectations.I wish they had a location nearer, but all in all good service and zero complaints. Just try and be gentle and kind because I know what we can be like, and being kind can go a long way!

I have been attempting to renew my passport for months now and this process has a terrible experience. I call, no one picks up. Go to the office and get turned away, ask for a phone call through chat and get refused. All i am attempting to do get things in order to make a trip to Ghana later this year and have been met to nothing but push back through out this whole process. If someone watches this review page please contact me. if not this review will stay here. I hate this has come down to this but i feel i was left with no other choice.

If I could give zero, I would. The most unprofessional behaviour I’ve ever experienced. Hugely disorganized in misplacing documents by not ensuring everything went into the correct folder. and then once confirmed that important documents were missing and in their custody, decided to send that document required for travel to a different province on purpose, out of spite, because we were frustrated that our documents were still in their custody and we were being blamed for them not being returned. Unbelievably unprofessional, luckily was able to obtain it again but otherwise this office would have cost us an entire trip and a wasted visa processing fee.
