2023 update: this place just keeps getting better, more outside seating options, service was amazing, always have a great time here. Burgers, Prime Rib and the fish all received praise from our group of 7.Fantastic meal. Great escargot, and calamari, excellent Greek salad. Very nice old restaurant looking over the bay with really good food. About a 15 minute drive from Killbear Provincial park.As with any great restaurant, there may be a bit of a wait but well worth it and you can hang out on the porch having a beer while you wait. Not what I expected from a little restaurant up here but amazing none the less.On the menu they also have Chicken Fingers with the caption not what you came for"."

This is a beautiful local seafood restaurant! We had a great time here. The environment is very Canadian, and the food is delicious! Don't miss this experience if you like seafood. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The fish here was great, and the salad sides are very generously portioned.The included colslaw was really good as well, not your typical buy it from the store and put it on a plate" kinda colslaw.With the Restaurant positioned right on the Marina and out of the way

Not the experience we were hoping for based on the reviews. The deep-fried fish was soggy. There was extra items added to the bill (i.e., extra pieces of fish we didn't ask for), and the wrong side salad given. Fish chowder was decent. But $150 for lunch and two beers is insane.

Best fish n chips I’ve ever had in Canada! Coleslaw is a highlight, crispy yet juicy! They have dog menu as well, my doggies absolutely love it!

Our family had a wonderful time at Gilly’s!We were so impressed with the quality of food and service. The meals were cooked perfectly with nice large portions.Our server, Erica was truly delightful, her smile and happy personality made our dinner experience 5 star.To the management of Gilly’s, you are fortunate to have such wonderful employees like Erica!

Great food. Need more help as it's overwhelming to the staff. They seem to run hard. Garbage next to table needs to go as the smell can come over to food area and the outhouse has to move. Had to relocate due to overwhelming aroma. Go every year and will continue to go. Yummy food.

Highly edible food! The seafood chowder I ordered had one bite of seafood and 85% undercooked potatoes, the broth was rather more on the liquid end, bland.The garlic bread was like a chain pub quality, didn’t really fit the theme.However fish and chips were impeccable, white fish is what you wanna order here. It wasn’t greasy, fries were good $27 for two very dense fillets and it was worth it.

Lovely place, all the waiters were nice and making sure everything was ok! I had the I house smoked fish which was delicious!
