After buying our forever farm property my wife and I knew that a new water proofing foundation would be required. Alex and the Foundation Experts impressed us from the beginning and remained committed to service excellence throughout. From the initial visit at our property, Alex was able to provide us with an evidence-based quote and answered all the various questions we had about the products, warranty, etc. Prior to day 1 of the job, Alex revisited our property for the final assessment and provided us with a plan that ensured the safety of his employees and ours. Always punctual, even if our property is in Woodlawn, Alex and his crew remained open to our questions and comments throughout. The job further remained on time and on budget. This review comes a bit late (for work done in summer 2022) but I promised Alex (the owner of The Foundation Experts) that I would write one. After getting a few quotes, we chose The Foundation Experts to enlarge our two basement windows and create proper window wells where none existed. Of course, it was very important to find a company that is professional and highly experienced. Alex was great and he put our minds at ease by being easy to communicate with, pleasant, with fair pricing and demonstrating high knowledge and attention to detail. After a small delay (to be expected in this field yet Alex was always very honest and forthcoming), Alex and his crew showed up in early Aug 2022 and worked hard and yet very attentively to minimize any disruptions. I appreciated that Alex was on-site for pretty much the entire job. When a small lateral foundation crack was found, he explained what we could expect (both best and worse case scenarios - which fortunately turned out to be just a minor repair). Alex also took care of coordinating with the concrete cutting / removal contractor. Once the job was completed, the crew picked up everything, and even cleaned our driveway and the road. A few days later, our window company came and installed our new windows without any issues. Everything has been fine so far, and we love the extra sunlight and fresh air in our basements. After suffering with water seepage at a few locations in our basement walls, we hired Foundation Experts Inc. to waterproof the exterior foundation walls of our 60-year-old Ottawa bungalow. I was completely satisfied with their work for the reasons that follow.- Work began after only a small delay in schedule.- Work progressed punctually every day, uninterrupted until completion.- Phases of work were well-coordinated, preventing any delays.- Crew worked diligently, and was always respectful.- Business manager was present every day, actively involved in the work.- Business has decades of experience, and acted professionally throughout.- Business manager was patient in answering all our questions, and generous in providing helpful advice for all issues.- Cost estimate was lower than other quotation we obtained.- Waterproofing membrane used to cover exterior foundation walls down to house footings was manufactured in Ontario.- FE Inc. did not skimp on the quality of the workmanship. They provided a minimum 3-foot wide dig around the full perimeter of the house, filled in with clear gravel to optimize water drainage and minimize hydrostatic pressure on the foundation walls.- FE Inc. provided a 25-year transferable warranty for their work.I fully recommend this company if you have water infiltration issues in your basement.John Q.

I was very pleased with the work done by The Foundation Experts in 2017. The work was done quickly and professionally by Alex and his team. I especially liked that they did not have multiple jobs on the go, they focused on my home until it was done as agreed and then moved onto the next customer. I felt that my satisfaction with the work was their top priority. We ended up selling the house a few years later and the lifetime transferrable warranty was very appealing to our buyers. This is one of the best, if not the best, company I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. We had a crack in the wall above a large picture window—the support installed during the window installation was under-sized. The Foundation Experts Inc. easily addressed this and some other concerns of the house I asked about. Alex was by several times or in contact by phone or email to ensure I understood what was happening and if I had any questions. The architect, Trench, was very much hands-on during the initial assessment once the wall was opened up and again for a final assessment and approval before everything was closed up. I have nothing but praise for Noah, Leonard and Stephen who worked diligently making sure I understood what was happening, about to happen and when. Most importantly, everyone that worked on this project was polite, professional and respectful at all times. A final comment: this project was started and finished, including clean-up and painting in 2 calendar weeks, that included the Easter holidays—I think that is phenomenal for a project of this size. We have an older house and had issues with our garage. The exterior foundation wall was slowly sinking causing structural problems to the point where we had no choice but to get it repaired. We consulted with several companies and decided on Foundation Experts and Alex Berezowsk.We found Alex and the company to be very professional in their approach> There was ongoing communication and Alex was frequently on site and in fact carried out some the work personally. His staff were very professional and easy to deal with on a daily basis. They cleaned up the site at the end of each day.The job required extensive excavating and stabilization work to protect the outside wall of the garage while replacing the foundation walls.We are extremely pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend the company.

When I found cracks in my foundation I called The Foundation Experts and they were quick to come and assess the problem.
