Travelodge Hotel by Wyndham Saskatoon

10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. We booked a block of rooms for a team and we had so many issues that none of us will ever returna and some of us ended up moving to a different hotel. One of the biggest reasons was the cleanliness of the rooms. 3 of our rooms were so gross that people had to be moved(what looked like snot and blood all over the walls and dirty bedding) and one of which went to a seperate hotel as the manager of the hotel was terrible and not accommodating. We also booked a team room which was awful. Some of our team checked in Friday and then I had checked in Saturday at 330pm where I received the keys for the team room. After our last game we ordered pizza and then went down to the team room to wait for it, when I unlocked the door I was immediately digusted. The room was filthy, there was dirty clothes and shoes all over the couch and floor. There was the contents of what looked like someone's entire duffle bag on the couch, including a rotten, half eaten apple. When I reached out to the front desk to ask them for a new space they said they didn't have one but would send someone to clean it which would take 45min... we had pizza on the way for a whole team and didn't have a place to go and they didn't care. When the banquet person arrived she was very upset that they had sent the banquet team to clean up the mess and said she was not able to do it. (Not her fault. Not her job, she was actually the only nice or apologetic person on staff). I went down to the front desk to speak to the manager in person and he accused us of making a mess in the room........ he was not apologetic or helpful and was so very rude. Eventually the banquet lady came back and was able to move us to an empty banquet room just so the girls could eat. It was awful.. I do not recommend. During the time i was waiting at the front desk I also overhead a man complaining his smoke detector was hanging down in his room and another women complaining her bed didn't even have sheets... never will I give money to this establishment again.

Terrible experience. Room was second floor in the waterslide area. WiFi was garbage (couldn't stay connected for more than a minute), water could never stay hot for showers, and lights flickered throughout the entire room. The room itself looked good but then again...it looked like one of the rooms I put together for my kids years ago. Can put lipstick on a pig but it's still just a pig. Oh...and don't boast about 50 years in business!

The staff was super helpful. We got a great deal for our room. It was nice that we were able to bring our small dog along for a small fee. The floors in the room were very dirty was my biggest complaint. Seems like a great venue for sports teams etc and even tho it was a busy weekend for teams at the hotel it was not too loud after hours. Pool gets closed frequently for cleaning which I think is great. We came to town for some swimming and fun and shopping. Would consider coming again if the price is right.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Do be forewarned you will feel like you are walking miles to your room—however, it’s a massive hotel, and the room was competitively priced considering. Satisfied with our stay.

The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. Pillows provided no support. The shop beside the front desk needs to have a small variety of feminine hygiene products.

The staff here were great. The hotel was sold out but all of staff went above and beyond to try and ensure that everyone had the best possible stay. The rooms were clean and the restaurant had great food. The only complaint was that the echo from the pool and the hallways carried really badly into the rooms.

Stayed here on our way to Calgary. The water park was AWESOME! Our boys absolutely loved it. We do have a few disappointing details to share. The hotel is only 2 floors (which wasn’t a problem) BUT we were travelling with a newborn so we needed our stroller. That being said we also needed access to an elevator to get to our room on the second floor. There is one, but it’s tucked so far away that it took forever to find and there were absolutely no signs to tell us where it was. Also, the lock on our room door was loose and looked like it had been broken into in the past. Which was not at all comforting. We had a great stay, but would love to see some upgrades in the future.

We stayed in one of the space themed rooms the black light made everything light up and was so cool! My children had a blast at the pool and water slides! We came for my sons 5th birthday and the waitress even sang him happy birthday!!! Once bed time came there were cool glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. We will definitely be returning on a monthly visit!

This was supposed to be a family friendly hotel. The room across from me 224 was fist fighting at 4:30 AM but the drunk arguing started around 4am I went to report it and not one staff asked if we were okay or if they could do anything. Security just said thanks we know as they were headed there. I also let front desk know and all they did was allowed me to cancel my third night didn’t even ask if they could do anything or offer us to move rooms. Front desk decided to deal with credit card info around 5:30 am just as I fell asleep instead of in the morning. All this was after a 10.5 hour road trip with a 4 year old and we were only in town for a family matter my sister was having surgery.There was a hole in the wall behind the night stand visibility without looking, build up around toilet definitely not cleaned well.

My family has booked and stayed in the same room/suite at this hotel since the 1970's. It was a tradition to go at the same time every year, around my Dad's birthday, and it was always the perfect winter getaway for our family and friends.Several months ago, we called to book this room (suite) for two nights as well as a few more rooms. We phoned in our booking and booked at the hotel itself, prepaid and non-refundable, to ensure we would get this exact room. We were assured it was ours for our stay, our booking ensured this.So Friday 15 of us arrive to check into the same suite we stayed in since we were small children and our other rooms. The hotel said our other family members has already checked into our suite and had our keys, but that wasnt the case, we were the first of our group to arrive and check in. We insisted that no, none of our group has checked in. Then they gave us keys to an entirely different room on a different floor. Management was called then and insisted that our reservation was not guaranteed and they had put someone else in our suite. They ended up giving us other inferior rooms and refused to just refund our booking. Since when is it acceptable to insist people pay you for something you failed to provide? We prepaid for this exact room LAST YEAR to make sure we would have it. In the end we did not have the space we needed to gather and spend time together in the suite that was so nostalgic to all of us, it really ruined the trip for us. They said they would bring us a table and chairs to squeeze in our regular room with our beds pushed together into a corner. They brought a small folding table but no chairs, there really wasn't room for anything. We also had a reservation in the restaurant for 18, made well in advance, expecting to eat together. We ended up in three separate booths. The point was to all have a meal together and that didn't happen. The meal and restaurant was otherwise OK but just another way the hotel failed to accommodate our group as planned.When someone books and prepays for a specific suite several months in advance, you don't just rent it to someone else and stick them somewhere else, and why would anyone stay again and pay all that money when you just don't provide what they paid for? Extremely disappointing.I hope the dozen other adults in our group also leave a 1 star rating, it's well deserved!Do not trust this hotel to provide you with what you paid for!
