Shoppers Drug Mart

Shoutout to Maria C, Cosmetics Manager. She has helped me on 2 different occasions. Both times she was helpful without any pressure to purchase and was very knowledgeable about her products. Hang on to her, she is a gem. Great personal customer service is unfortunately rare these days, so assistance from an employee like her is greatly appreciated. Great job, keep it up!

I requested my doctor to send in the prescription 2 hours in advance. When I get to the pharmacy, the gentleman said it would be 45 minutes wait time, saying they never received anything. Then he discovers the document on the printer. No apology, nothing. I tried helping with a 2 hours lead time, and an additional 45 minutes which they asked for. All this time, for ONE medicine ..... Still waiting

Great pharmacy with alot of great staff and pharmacists. They are always kind no matter what you need and even when it's super busy. It can be busy frequently, I believe this is because it is a very convenient place to do your shopping. The prices are quite good especially if you see whats on sale in the store flyers.

I like the store and their products/ pricing. I was in the store Wednesday night and they did not have a cashier available, I can use self checkout but feel we should still have the option to use cash if we want to.

They will give you the run around and lie to you about offering a covid travel test. Friday I went to collingwood and they said they didnt do them at that site on the weekend (this was at 2pm) and told me to go to Wasaga beach location. I called on Friday and they said I could do a walk in covid test SAturday. When i got there after a 1 hour drive (no other shoppers around would do testing) the pharmacist said he was done for the day and refused to do any more . THis was at 1pm. They told me I could come back the next day. I called at 900 am right after opening and then they told me they don't do them on the weekend. After telling me on he phone and in person they did. Ridiculous runaround and inconvenience, now i am left driving in to toronto for a test because of the run around, and last minute. If you arent going to do the test, dont advertise it on your website and don't lie to people and change your mind the next day.

Many items not on the shelf. No rain checks on two day sale. They don't bring enough supply for there two day sale. They want consumers to be lured into there store on two day sales, but can't over the items. Shame on shoppers drug mart. I have stopped supporting shoppers drug mart stores. This kind of behavior is not the kind of store I will be back to.

I seem to just have the absolute worst luck with pharmacies, and after moving to Wasaga Beach from Vaughan, things are no different here. They fail to have medications ready, or even ordered or in stock. No clue what kind of system they use, but it's horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if they have no system at all. In 4 months, they have yet to have my medications ready. I've had to go back several times each month to pick up my medications, and even then had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for what should be so simple. I'm sure I'm not the only one with these issues, as the phone is always busy - I can imagine why.

Have had a dozen prescriptions faxed over by doctors in the last year for my family and 5 hours later, they haven’t even seen the fax. Very slow pharmacy. You can never trust that a visit at 8am to your doctor, with fax sent at 8:30, will guarantee your meds will be ready by 6pm. Also when they are overwhelmed, they take their phone off the hook so nobody can call in to renew a prescription. Terrible service. Empty shelves as of lately. Went for regular Tylenol 2 days ago and there was none.

On going issues with this particular location my son is schizo-affective bipolar, manic he was told one of his meds where ready for pickup he gets there and guess what no medication ? so why mention this to begin with, so he caused a scene not to mention what i had to deal with when he got home last night. This is a very serious illness and they should be more aware of MENTAL HEALTH and the challenges he has to go through he is on quite a few meds to control this condition.

Moved to wasaga beach from burlington. Everytime i fill my subscription online they screw it up. Went to pick up meds one day, the bag looked liked it was reused 100 times and all my drugs were squashed like someone stepped all over them. Totally unacceptable. It hasnt been correct yet. Worst drug store ever. Think i may try the IDA
