Owen Sound Transit Terminal

This public transit system in Owen Sound is abysmal. There os no real schedule, and timing is undependable. The buses are not well maintained. The hours are pretty useless to those of us who do not drive, and have to work during the day - there is no service after 6 p.m or on Sundays. If you need to go anywhere after work during the week, you are SOL. The routes are not great, there are only four, and they are circular. They don't really go to a lot of places that one might need to go for shopping. The fair is the same as with a proper transit system ($3.00) but the service is very minimal. Also, you cannot transfer from one bus to another without being at the station, so if you want to go to Wal-mart for example, you can't get off the Core bus and transfer to the bus that goes there. You have to ride it all the way around to the station and get on another bus and ride all they way out again. It's pretty ridiculous. They also do not accept the CNIB bus pass - which every transit company in Canada does - or so I was told by the rude customer service agent at the station. Less than one star if I could

The last time I was at this terminal was about 4 years ago when the Greyhound was still running it's very unfortunate that it is not anymore I used the ghost boss over a week ago and I went to go home the day after on the Saturday ran 2 km across Owen sound just to make the bus just to find out that they put me on the wrong bus

Only reason for not being 5 stars is drivers don’t care about anyone other than their friends…Was waiting for the Brooke this morning (March 29, 2023) and the driver was early and told me to hurry up because we had to leave yet, EARLY. And there was someone else trying to get on the bus (at the correct time) and she looked at them and drove off

Riding on the GOST Owen Sound to Guelph, awesome drivers, fast trip, very affordable. Butt.. not very cool anymore to sit in the back! Upgraded seats would make this ride even better!

To many people using wheelchair accessible making Able Bodyd' Constantly Late for Work. Suggested. Those needing Wheelchair to book there Own Realible Special Needs Buss!!!!!!!!!

One time I forgot my change and a driver let me pay at the terminal. I would’ve been late to work had it not been for him.5 stars. Very compassionate and accommodating.

No issue with bus services. Maybe consider extending hours of the operation of the waiting area. On arrival yesterday past 9pm, I could not get in to warm up and wait for my ride. That would have been great.

Yesterday, during a huge thunder and lightning storm, I waited for the bus in a shelter. When I saw the bus coming, I stepped out to cross the sidewalk and get on. However, the bus drove right passed me while the bus driver made eye contact with me the entire time. Was it possible that she didn’t see me until the last minute? Sure, but she could have turned around. Was it possible that all the seats were full? Sure, but she could have stopped and let me know the situation and assured me that I would be picked up on the next round. I feel it is common decency to at least acknowledge a person standing in the cold rain instead of driving right by them. I ended up late to my job. I pay for a monthly bus pass to take the bus, not to be left behind.

Waited 35 minutes, no Core route bus, had to walk instead. Later once I get to my destination the next Core bus drives right past and on schedule. About 30 minutes later I see it drive past again. I don't know why they just missed a whole cycle

Driver Seat is my life line and i miss my especial Driver. I was told my driver doesnot drive Driver Seat any more but my Driver drives every body and my Driver became now Driver manager. So sad. To all including my Dear Driver wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New year 2023. God Bless.
